I went to The Cutting Company for the first time this week and was over the moon with the results and value for money. I have had one or two hair disasters in my time, often ending in tears, so choosing a new hairdresser and having a dramatic new hairstyle in one go was rather daunting. I have to say that it was not just the colour and cut that was perfect, I also received accurate advice about what would suit me and how to recreate the style at home. Often you can go home and sit for hours trying to achieve the same look, I did it in 5 minutes flat, now there is a sign of a good cut!!! Finally one more thing, the conversation was intelligent and made the time go so quickly, it certainly made a change from being asked where you were going on holiday twice in 10 minutes. Well done to The Cutting Company, I loved every minute of my visit and will be coming back regularly :)
This salon is always evolving, having been a client for the last 4 years i have witnessed and experienced the changes and improvements, most recently the fantastic selection of hair products on sale. The welcome is always friendly, staff professional and most importantly the ʼcutʼ - somewhat above the rest.
I followd Anne Duncan to the cutting co. As she has always looked after me and my hair really well. Since now visiting the salon 6 times since she started I have been very impressed with all of the staff. They ae very friendly and always seem to remember me and love to have a chat. Thankyou.

I have been a client of John Goldsmithʼs and The Cutting Company for several years. Not only are John and his staff extremely courteous and friendly, they are also great hairdressers and stylists. Their attentive team make a haircut a really enjoyable experience, and I wouldnʼt dream of going anywhere else - they also give you a lot of confidence with their pleasant banter. Iʼd have no hesitation in recommending them to any of my friends and business associates, male or female.
