The Crown is consistantly very good on service and food. My wife and I have had countless meals including Sunday lunch and evening meals and have never been disappointed.

We normally have drinks once a week in the bar and the atmosphere is delightful and the staff are friendley/efficient.

We always recommend The Crown to clients and friends.

Not knowing Stamford well it was great to find a site like The Best of Stamford featuring businesses in town. Through the site I found all the details I needed to call, book the restaurant and find the hotel. The food was filling, delicious and the staff friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Staff so helpful and friendly I nearly brought one home as a pet.
Superb location and reasonable price.
Donʼt miss Toasted Tea Cakes or Chocolate Brownies at tea-time in the lounge and donʼt miss a great English Breakfast.
Rooms clean and airy and we loved the ceiling fan and walk in shower.
