Location

• With its unique setting amid conservation parkland overlooking Rutland Water, and just a stone's throw from Stamford, Barnsdale Hall Hotel offers a dream wedding venue for the wedding ceremony and / or wedding reception.
   
• Whether or not you need overnight accommodation, the hotel has a range of suites available for your wedding with rooms able to cater for up to 200 people. 

There are three suites available for weddings, depending on the number of guests and size of venue required.

Edith Weston Suite - the larger wedding venue

This offers the complete package under one roof for larger weddings - ceremony room, reception room and terraced banqueting room. Weddings need nothing else, so you can relax and enjoy your day.

• The Whitwell Ceremony Room is generous and flexible in style for civil marriage/partnership ceremonies. A maximum of 100 guests may be seated for the ceremony.
   
• Wedding Reception Drinks - after the wedding or civil ceremony, the drinks reception can be held in the ceremony room's bar/lounge area, or weather permitting, on the landscaped terrace outside overlooking Rutland Water.
   
• Wedding Reception Breakfast for up to 160 guests, seated at round tables - the price includes all the accoutrements you would wish for your perfect wedding, including a Master of Ceremonies, wedding cake stand and knife, use of the grounds for wedding photos, and a double room for the Bride and Groom on their wedding night.
   
• Evening buffet for up to 200 wedding guests with either a BBQ or a buffet.
   
• Music may be played until midnight
   
• The hotel's DJ can be booked for weddings; he's available between 7.00pm and 12.00am.
   
• The dance floor bar remains open until 1.00am 

The Lakeview Suite - the medium sized wedding venue

The Lakeview Suite is a wonderful wedding venue for wedding receptions. Your civil marriage ceremony can be organised elsewhere within the resort. This venue is secluded and private, so your music can continue until 1am - perfect for for the Bride and Groom to enjoy the last dances at their wedding.

• The Wedding or Partnership Ceremony takes place in the Egleton Ceremony Room, purposefully designed for wedding ceremonies with a maximum of 60 guests. 
• Wedding Reception Drinks may either be held in the bar area or outside on the private Lakeview Terrace, weather permitting.
   
• The Wedding Reception Breakfast can be laid for a maximum of 80 guests seated at round tables. The hire charge includes all of the accoutrements you would expect including the hotel's MC, wedding cake stand with knife, use of the grounds for your wedding photos and a double room for the bride and groom on their wedding night.
   
• Evening Wedding Receptions - The Lakeview room accommodates up to 140 guests with a delicious buffet.Music can continue until 1.00am
   
• DJ available between 7.00pm and 12.00am for an extra charge.
   
• The dance floor bar is open until 1.00am  

The Osprey Room - wedding venue for smaller and daytime weddings and wedding receptions

Perfect for daytime weddings.Adjoining Rutland Room licensed for civil wedding ceremonies - your guests walk straight through to their tables after the ceremony. A maximum of 40 guests can be seated for the wedding ceremony. The room is only available until 5.00pm, so if you'd like to carry on into the evening you may use The Lakeview Room

• The Rutland Ceremony Room is available for civil wedding ceremonies and is en suite to The Osprey Restaurant where you may hold your wedding reception. A maximum of forty (40) guests may be seated for the ceremony.
   
• Wedding Reception Drinks may be held in the bar/lounge area, or outside on The Osprey Terrace, weather permitting.
  
• Wedding Reception Breakfast can be laid for a maximum of 60 guests depending on the seating plan and the room charge includes the usual accoutrements you would expect including MC, use of the grounds for wedding photos, double room for the Bride and Groom's wedding night.
   
• Evening Wedding Receptions can be organised in the Lakeview Room, at an additional cost depending on your numbers.

Luxury Wedding Spa Treatment

Why not start your wedding day planning at the Spa? The Spa can take care of the whole bridal party on the wedding day - but it doesn't start there. Prior to your wedding the bridal party can attend for a trial session in Hair and Beauty so that the staff know exactly how to arrange your hair on the big day to complement wedding make up.

• A course of facials for skin illumination, a manicure for perfect looking hands for the wedding ring photograph and a massage to calm and relax any pre-wedding tension is available for the bridesmaids, the bride's mother and of course the bride!
   
• When the wedding day arrives you and your party are greeted with a glass of champagne to calm your wedding day nerves whilst staff go to work on your hair and nails.
