Bistro Le Coq is located within The Cock Inn, a fifteenth century former hostelry.
Having changed hands in 2003, the new owners decided to create a unique French Bistro serving a variety of French dishes that cannot be found anywhere else in the UK.
Menu's change regularly but can include authentic French speciality dishes such as:
COTES DE PORC CHARCUTIERE - Griddled Pork Loin Chops with a piquant sauce of white wine, mustard, cornichons, tomato and tarragon,
served with provençale tomato, and dauphinoise potatoes
STEAK FRITES - Char-grilled, 21 day matured 8oz Rump Steak, with summer salad, provençale tomato and French fries
LONGE D'AGNEAU PROVENCALE - Griddled loin of Lamb, with dauphinoise potatoes, provençale tomato, panache vegetables, and a mixed
Herb, raspberry vinegar, and redcurrant sauce
