We had a meal and stayed over for our Wedding Anniversary. The food was superb, the service / hospitality was fantastic. Lovely room and gardens. Best food in St Neots by far!! We're looking forward to coming again to try the rest of the menu.

We recently chose 'The Eltisley' for our wedding reception. I cannot praise them enough for the service we received from start to finish. The food was superb, the staff were excellent and being Christmas the room was decorated like a wonderful winter wonderland. Everyone commented on how enjoyable and relaxing the afternoon there was. Thankyou all so much for helping to make our day special...

Me and my dad came here for lunch today, I had crab cakes which were cooked to top standard and my dad had an open beef sandwich, for dessert we shared a chocolate torte with honeycomb and sorbet which was well presented and delicous! Complements to the chef! The restaurant was lovely, very clean and well kept. The service was very good and welcoming as they didn't push us for time. I would definitely recommened.*****

I found "The Eltisley" to be most welcoming, as a woman on my own this was invaluble. The food was heavenly and the service friendly and prompt. Menu was interesting and mouthwatering, and I am a terrible critic! The single room was clean and boutiquey...

As a fellow Bestof company (St Neots Fencing) we thought we would try the Elitsley due to the excellent testimonials they had received.
We were surprised that the testimonials did not do it justise and in fact was better than imagined.
The belly of pork was just amazing and will return just for this!
Fantastic service, food, and ambience which just shows the the Best of site does in fact have the 'Best' companies on it.

What a fantastic place, the decor and staff very friendly. But the food --- wow!! 4 of us went on Thursday 13th Aug 2009 (Eve) And have to say the starters, main course and dessert were amazing.
We had the cod, steak and rabbit all were very nice.
Only 1 small point, maybe a tad heavey on the rocket. But definatly worth a visit. Cheers Jenny

What a fantastic place! The staff are very friendly and the food is amazing - I had a steak and ale pie, and the steak was perfect. My husband has partridge, which he really enjoyed. One of the best meals our we have had for ages!!

Visited the Eltisley and had a brilliant meal. The service was impeccable whilst the food was delicious. Dont make the mistake I made, before I came to the Eltisley; there is NOW fine dining in St. Neots!!! The duck was better than I have ever had before, the cheeses were gorgous and the wines were full bodied. Also got a free glass off the proprietor!!
Ps, take the car, leave it in the car park and get a taxi home. When you are eating this well with great prices the taxi cost pales into insignificance!!

Have not been here for many years, looked on the site, read some of the reviews and decided to pay a visit. Really impressive place and nice atmosphere. The food was really good. You should try this place if you enjoy food (mussles were good). One thing I liked is that you dont feel rushed at all. It seems they want you to enjoy taking time over your meal.

I recently went to the Eltisley for my birthday. The food was excellent, the service was very good too despite the fact that they were busy. There was no hovering around trying to get you done and out the door. If you want to go somewhere to have a meal that is a bit special, the Eltisley is the place for you. PS Try the crab risotto.

I took my mum to The Eltisley for lunch after my son recommended it. We were not disappointed as the meal was really good - we both had the sausage casserole, with locally made sausages, and it was most enjoyable. I look forward to going again.
