Alex has carried out several job in the last year, both inside and out and I've been delighted with the results everytime. He has on occasions encountered problems which have been unrelated to the task in hand but has gone the extra mile by investigating and finding a resolution, even though it has been outside his field of expertise, although i've yet to find anything he can't do (except driveways)! His workmanship is of a very high quality, he is hard working, efficient and very trustworthy. I'm so pleased to find him and am already listing future jobs I will be asking him to carry out. Highly recommended.

I can honestly say that I was more than happy to pay Alex for all the work he did for us in helping us to move house. We originally booked Alex through this site to create new plumbing for siting our washing machine in a different part of the house. When we realised he was free for a couple of days work we booked him for the whole two days as there were plenty of odd jobs (aren't there always when you move house?). Alex was an absolute godsend and enabled the move to happen without hitch. All I had to do was let Alex know what needed doing and with what priority and allow him to crack on. Alex worked extremely hard and achieved over and above what I expected to be completed. Whatever needed doing Alex could turn his hand to it and got on with it cheerfully. We will be using Alex again and we are very grateful for all his work. Thanks Alex. I recommend Alex as a trustworthy, reliable, hardworking and cheerful handyman. You couldn't ask for better!!

Alex did a fantastic job sorting out a leaking sink and *removing an integrated dishwasher, plus some work in the bathroom. We were most impressed by his efficiency and nice nature. Plus his rates were very reasonable.

Alex recently completed a kitchen installation after we had to take the guys we had in originally off the job due to very poor workmanship. When we called Alex, we needed the work done as soon as possible as we had been without a kitchen for some time.

Alex did a fantastic job, and worked around several hidden challenges that did not become apparent until work was underway - this was all because of hidden issues from the previous cowboys.

In every instance, Alex took the time to explain the issues and provide different options for resolution, before cracking on and getting the job completed to a high standard.

As a result, Alex was able to rescue the situation and provide us a great kitchen that had not been compromised. I would recommend without hesitation, and will be using DIY Rescue again in the future.
