As always, the Best of St Neots is my first port of call when needing a local service. Our Eucalyptus tree had finally been beaten by the recent winds over Christmas and we called Alan out to inspect it. The whole process was both simple and straight forward. We were advised how long it would take and what to expect. Would happily recommend them to anyone needing a tree surgeon!

I decided to use Alan Linger as firstly he was local, but also after having read the previous testimonials. He returned my call within 24hrs and came around promptly to give a very resonably priced quote. Although we were halted for a few months due to nesting birds, he has just left after what was a testing job. His men have reduced in height and width a brute of a flowering Cherry, who's canopy stradled three gardens.The tree was cut back to encourage new growth, and although a tough job it was done without any damage to neighbouring plants. They also severely pruned a Eucolyptus, and cut down the dead trunk of a Ceanothus. They were all very polite, cleared up the mess,took away everything, worked safely and were extremely well priced for the job done. Would highly recommend Alan and his team and would certainly use him again. Thank you

I was recommended Alan Linger as a quality professional tree surgeon. He returned my call promptly and arrived when he said he would. He has pruned my productive but overgrown Bramley Apple tree so that it not only looks good but will continue to produce Apples. He also expressed knowledge about the right time to cut, how much to remove, so that the tree survives and the wildlife can still use and enjoy the tree.He will be trimming my large Robinia soon and I have confidence that it will be as successful a job as the first.

This was the first time I have used Alan and his team to trim some conifers and other bushes in the garden. They did an excellent job and more importantly cleared away all the debris. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I have used Alan Linger Tree Surgeons on numerous occasions and have always been very pleased with the work. They are a very friendly team and the site when they have finished is clean and tidy. I think the prices are fair and the work is done properly and at the end of it there is a big pile of mulch which to me is an added bonus.

Alan and his team have done 2 jobs for us, the most recent a couple of weeks ago. On both occasions they removed some quite large trees from difficult settings and, amazingly, caused practically no damage to surrounding plants etc. I have found them polite and friendly, punctual and efficient. I would definitely recommend them!

Over the past 30 months Alan has removed old yews, a large lime and a big sycamore, grinded out a stump, removed some conifers and cut back and trimmed other conifers, recommended a tree supplier and planted a new sorbus. At every visit Alan was reliable, efficient, did an excellent job and cleared up everything. He could not be faulted and Iʼm sure to have him back when needed.
