Family Daytime Living History Event
Join our crew for a day! An exciting day-long living history experience in which you dress in Tudor sailors' costume and experience life on board a Tudor warship. Workshops on navigation, barber surgery, and gun drill, led by costumed interpreters. Participate in a mock battle, move the yardarm, and turn the capstan. Lunch is provided in the form of a vegetable stew or pottage with bread, a typical meal in Tudor times. Living History Days are suitable for children aged 6 years and older. The events are particularly suitable for children at Key Stage 1 & 2.
