I had never heard of the Hogfather when I found myself in need of repairs and modifications to an already heavily modified bike, at short notice over the Easter period. The engine was running on 3 out of 4; the front brake was dire; the lighting was all over the place; the knackered rear sprocket had come adrift and chewed through the swinging arm. Yeti consented to take the bike on board and Ben put his back into it. When I got it back, it ran like a dream, handled like an ace and stopped on a six-pence. They did it when they didn't have to; they did part of it for free; they did it in their own personal time; they gave me all the right advice. But most importantly, they used a term that means everything. As soon as Ben said he would 'fettle' the mess I brought him, I knew I was in safe hands. They finished it off with an MoT, new bits and pieces as needed and then emailed me all the details. It couldn't have been done any better, by any better people. They did everything I asked, with no notice; and then they did more. Simply the best. End of.
Hi Yeti Thanks for all of the time you've spent on my scoot. I appreciate all of the hard work you guys have put into it, the first idiot that had two months with it got a lot of bad reviews on various forums (north west bikers, southport riders, Mordeth13, Yamaha viragotech and more, all of these forums were trying to figure out what was up with it too hah) And I've been keeping them all updated, so you've got/will be getting some good words from me definitely on all of those for figuring it all out where loads of others failed. Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised what it's been through, was imported from the US to Ireland in 99 so before and since it could have been god knows where. Just out of curiosity, what sorts of bodges had it undergone?

These guys helped me out tremendously they fully rebuilt my old 1976 Harley Engine. Frank was very helpful and mechanic, think was called Uffy - great service and was well priced. Although I travelled a bit The Hogfather came highly recommended - worth the travel, I'll never go anywhere else now.
Just a quick note of thanks Yeti; your mobile motorcycle service van has just finished servicing my bike and can report The Hogfather have done a great job (again). Its been a pleasure doing business with you and your guys from advice on the initial purchase of the Motorcycle, the great assistance in training and the best insurance offers, then your and subsequent mobile servicing at my house in Telford which is at least 2 hours away from The Hogfather in Southport. This all gives me warm assurance that there are genuine motorcycle people like you still around â I will definitely call you again nearer the time when my bike needs its next service and I will definitely recommend you to all the people I know.
