Southport Education Business Link is a ‘Not for Profit’ charity based educational service, supporting schools requiring work experience placements for young people.

At Southport Education Business Link we work closely with local schools to provide suitable work experience places in local businesses to suit the needs of pupils, whether as ‘Two week Block Work Experience ’  undertaken by most 14 year olds, or the ‘Extended Work Experience Programme’ suitable for those on an alternative curriculum.

• Health and safety checks  
• CRB clearance  
• Mentoring  
• Certification

Using our educational service can reduce the administration time needed to organise work experience within individual schools.

We specialise in offering a bespoke CRB service to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible.

Businesses have the opportunity to provide work experience for students who enjoy learning practical skills in the working environment. In practice many of our students have been offered permanent positions following on from the extended programme.
