Earlier this year Birkdale Business Village Partnership was re-activated to help promote the village in Southport and further afield.

A very successful Summer Festival was held in July, and fortunately the weather was kind and the crowds arrived.

Following on from this, two more events are planned - An Arts & Crafts Fair on the 19th September, and a Christmas event early in December.

As a stallholder at the Birkdale Arts & Crafts Fair I can report that event went very well. My stall, THE FAIR TRADE STORE, did particularly well, getting a lot of repeat business for my Fair Trade Gifts. The Birkdale Christmas Festival has been confirmed for the evening of Thursday 3rd December, so please put this in your diary - we look forward to seeing you then. Fairtrader. report abuse...
