I changed to 1st Stop Cars from a major car dealership two years ago and have not regretted it! Kevin and his team are so polite and efficient keeping you informed every step of the way. They do not undertake unnecessary work and always check with you first if you want to go ahead before they complete the work. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who is looking for efficient courteous service but who does not want to pay the huge prices charged by the major franchises! A real gem of a business - please support them if you can once you are out of warranty with your current dealership as you will find the prices and service a lot better!
As a woman driver and concerned about being "had over" I found Kevin to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Whilst I had "self diagnosed" that my clutch needed replacing, he suggested there could be another problem with the hydraulic system instead of the clutch and having independently checked this, he was right, saving me over £100 in repairing the hydraulic system instead of the clutch. His honesty and advice on assisting me was appreciated and given me the confidence to trust in his reputation - would definately recommend :-)
You know 1st Stop will be 100% thorough but also have empathy with drivers trying to keep the cost of motoring under control. Friendly, helpful and eager to do their level best for you, I have no hesitation in recommending 1st Stop to any motorist. They have always provided a great service to me.
I took my car into 1st stop for an MOT and being a woman i was cautious about being told that something needed to be done that didn't. What a breath of fresh air when i spoke to Kevin, i was put at ease straight away and left feeling confident that if there was a problem it would be genuine....fortunately my car passed with flying colours. I would recommend 1st stop and certainly use them again.
Honest advice, very good workmanship. Helpful, fair price on work. Only replace items that need replacing. I would recommend this garage to anybody and would also like to thank them very much for all their help!!
