me and my sister ( a spitting image of susan boyle)were in south shields in 2007 on a holiday from australia.we loved the marsden inn and all the friendly faces, especially a lad called phil connely.apart from the fact he supports newcastle hes a top lad and was one of manny friendly faces.winnie,geordie,paul,fred,ritchie,les,...the list goes on.lovely atmos and food and drink and staff.and my sister didnt get picked on for looking like susan boyle

Having recently visited The Marsden Inn, I was very impressed with the warm welcome we received. We enjoyed a lovely meal which was excellent value, in very relaxed surroundings. We will certainly be returning!

Visited the Masden Inn for a business meeting last week. We were very well looked after, had a private room and the food was excellent quality at an unbelievable price (we ordered before 6.30 so hit happy hour prices). Will be back!

We recently took advantage of the early evening specials menu at The Marsden Inn and were really impressed. The Fish & Chips with Mushy peas were lovely and with two meals for £7.95 before 6.30pm you canʼt go wrong!

I visited The Marsden Inn recently during my lunchbreak and was very impressed. The staff were very friendly,the service was really prompt and the food was lovely. I would definately recommend The Marsden Inn. I was so impressed I have booked our next monthly meeting there in November.
