Enquiry on behalf of L Cramman: Ive tried to sign up and do a review for Parkside Guest House South Shields without success. I wanted to say what a lovely guest house and that the tea rooms are a brilliant idea. The owner Alison is so friendly and the cakes are fantastic. also to say thanks to little Sarah who is full of fun and very socialable. I call in regular just sometimes for a cuppa and a chat.

What a find. A truely delightful guesthouse with fabulous views across the park to the sea. Guest house facilities are great and the tearooms are a relaxing place for afternoon tea. Staff are excellent, nothing is too much troupble. I would definitely recommend Parkside Guesthouse and tearooms to any visitors to South Shields

A home from home! Stayed on numerous occaisions and the quality of rooms is outstanding. Spotlessly clean, excellent facilities and always the warmest of welcomes from Alison. Would Highly recommend! Also a quick mention of possibly the best breakfast in South Shields!! Many thanks, Alison and Peter. I Look forward to my return visit!

Thanks again for another pleasant stay. Nice to return to a warm and friendly atmosphere. Alison again made us feel like one of the family. Crisp clean rooms with top of the range breakfast. Can strongly recommend a stay at this guest house.

I stayed at Parkside whilst studying for exams at South Tyneside College. A very warm and friendly atmosphere, with clean and cosy rooms.

Parkside Guesthouse is very clean the decor is nicely thought out and the room was very spacious but cosy and very homely.Also whilst my stay at Parkside i uncoverd a gem.Parkside Tea rooms:the food is simply delicous and very well presented.Very friendly waitress (Sarah) and owner (Alison).A visit is a must!!

Parkside guest house is very clean,staff are very friendly and welcoming.Also whilst staying at parkside i incoverd a gem. Parkside tearooms: the food and was delicous and very well presented.Very friendly waitress and owner. I would highly recommend a visit!

I stayed at Parkside Guest House for weekend a few weeks ago and thought it was a lovely guest house. The staff were lovely and were very helpful locating me to the best sites. The Guest House is well presented with a homely feel. The tea room attached to the Guest house is also very pleasent to sit in and have a drink and a slice of cake. I really enjoyed my time spent there and would advise anyone travelling to South Shiels to stay there.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Parkside Guest House for Easter weekend, the service was exceptional, the staff and owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Also the coffee shop downstairs was also very handy after a day at the seaside for a nice hot chocolate and a snack. We will definatly be going back again soon. Thanks
