Our trip to Cineworld, Boldon for my sonʼs birthday was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff quickly got our tickets & refreshments. The cinema itself was spotless (not the tacky mess we are used to from Odeon, Silverlink) My son at 6 feet 1really appreciated the leg room, but even a shorty like me found the seating much more comfortable than most cinemas. It was not too warm & not too loud! (good thing) All in all, we are sold on watching our movies at Cineworld. Thank you
At Boldon Cineworld, the staff are really helpful. It is also a nice place to go for a drink in addition to the cinema experience. We found it very clean. Compared to other cinemas, we found it spacious and it had a really good choice of films to choose from.Love Ben & Jerryʼs too !!!Katie LNewcastle
Boldon Cineworld was a fantastic experience for the whole family. i recently went there to see the dark night and i thoroughly enjoyed my experience there i came early and spent half an hour in the bar upstairs which had a lovely atmosphere for me and my friends to enjoy i thoroughly recommend this cinema JESS
Well, it was very different to other cinemas, but in a good way donʼt worry. It had a posh modern bar above the main area where you could sit and relax with a drink before the film, whilst at other cinemas if you were early you end up standing around waiting for the film.I saw mama mia was pretty good. i would certinaly come there again. this cinema, was truly amazing, the leg room was better than any cinema Iʼve ever been to. the screen was of very good quality and the sound was crystal clear. Also the bar upstairs was a pleasant place to wait or even a after movie drink, good place to meet up when you meet either friends or family. Truly this cinema was an enjoyable experience. and honestly Mama mia is my favourite movie after this cinema showing. Laura Newcastle
We saw the new Indianna Jones film the other night and it was really enjoyable - all the usual millarkey at a steady pace. It wouldnʼt really matter if you havenʼt seen the first 3 in the series as it can easily stand alone. The cinema seats were very comfortable with plenty of leg room - and room to snuggle up if thatʼs what you feel like doing!Clare Coffield and Paul from South Shields
My whole family are real cinema fanatics and in the past we have normally gone to Silverlink, however, since discovering Cineworld in Boldon, we would not go anywhere else now and are completely converted to this Cinema.If you have not been to Cineworld Boldon yet, you must give it a try. It is far more comfortable than any other cinema we have been too and as my hubby is over 6ft the extra leg room is perfect. The staff are very friendly and the bar upstairs is really nice.They provide a regular magazine so that you can see which films are coming and review them.We recently went to see The Other Boleyn Girl and it was superb and quite emotional, so much so my mascara ran!We have also been to see The Cottage which was very funny albeit a bit gory!We are looking forward to the showing of 27 dresses and many other forthcoming films.There is also a very handy link to the Boldon Cineworld on this very site on the home page which takes you straight to the Boldon Cinema and what is on there.A truly exceptional cinema - Judith and family from Newcastle
