Situated in an excellent location close to major transport links and the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Longfellows English Restaurant is a family run business in the beautiful village of Catherine-De-Barnes in Solihull.
Serving a fabulous menu of fish, poultry, seafood and seasonal game, Longfellows offers a warm welcome to regulars, friends and those passing through.
Food and Drink
Established in 1988, the traditional style restaurant caters for 40/45 people and has a separate bar area for pre-dinner drinks.
All food is carefully prepared by owner and chef, Doug Long, and the menu offers a variety of dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
Christine Long manages the front of house and offers expert advice on the array of exciting dishes as well as the best wine to complement your meal.
A pleasant outdoor area is available for Al Fresco dining during the summer months.

Beautifully prepared food, Excellent outside space, Relaxing atmosphere.
The garden at Longfellows is fantastic especially on a summers night. The outdoor heaters meant that we could sit out and have dinner and drink wine until the late hours!!
