Illshaw Heath Farm (also listed in the Bed & Breakfast directory) was the perfect place to stay in my book: a rural location, a beautiful old building, a clean and pleasant room in excellent decorative order, and a party-size hot tub to end a dreadful day on a really good note. The hosts could not have been friendlier or more welcoming, and made my stay a real pleasure. I shall certainly be staying there again whenever I visit the area on business.

I love this B&B. For the past 5 years I have stayed down in the West Midlands during the working week. When this first started I tried most hotels and B&Bs in & around the area. Whilst there are many good ones this is truly a gem and I have stayed here nearly very week since I came across it 3 years ago. The location is tranquil whilst still being very close to the motorway, Solihull, Birmingham & the NEC. There is plenty of offroad parking, the rooms are adequately sized and, like the rest of the place, spotlessly maintained. I canʼt fault the food although sadly Iʼve had to cut out the full breakfast which is on offer in an effort to keep my weight down!! Tony & Janet are a great couple who obviously take much pride in running the farm and B&B to a very high standard, nothing is too much trouble for them and they strike the perfect balance between being friendly and welcoming whilst at the same time ensuring the privacy of their guests.
