I saw Karl when he was helping out with the training and physio at my Rugby club. Karl focuses on what I need to do to get and keep in shape, pushing me that little bit harder than I would myself. His private studio also suits me perfectly, knowing that I have exclusive, private use of their studio at a time to suit me means I am not fighting others for equipment, that everything is clean and well looked after and I never have to wait to start my next excercise... I can not recommend Karl highly enough, once you've tried karl you truely have trained with 'the best of' the bunch.

I had an increasingly debilitating achilles tendon problem that was preventing me from any sustained physical activity. I had been to see two different physiotherapist and believed I would have to agree to surgery to try and correct the problem. I was referred to Karl by a friend and after an initial consultation, five treatment and fitness sessions and a program of strengthening exercises tailored specifically to my problem I was able to go back to playing team sports and training at the gym for the first time in over 9 months. I am very grateful for Karl's expert help and for the speed that he got me back to playing sport. I would happily recommend Karl to anyone.

Karl did a brilliant job of looking after the CRS Racing drivers (and most of the team!) at the Spa 24 Hours last year. You really have to try Fitnesstrain.me. Having worked from home for a year, I desperately needed to get fit again, but hated the thought of joining a gym. I booked a 1:1 with Karl and he produced a healthy eating plan, taught me exercise regimes and boosted my confidence enormously. Choosing to work with Karl was one of the best decisions I made when I stepped up to World Series. He has the neccesary experience at the highest levels of the sport to get any driver prepared for the task at hand. Before I began training with Karl, I could barely do 5 laps in a row at my first test in a World Series car at Barcelona. With Karls help and training program, I was quickest at the very next test!

To be a professional you must be at the top of your game in every aspect of Motorsport. Your Race fitness is a big part of this. Having worked with other trainers in the past and considered myself fit, I started working with Karl in the winter of 2007 to prepare for the 2008. We changed the way I trained as well as a complete overhaul of my diet. I can really feel the difference in the car and I can see the difference as I am more consistent and I believe more focused. As well as the fitness we have worked through specific strategies for the races including 24hr races and again the difference was very noticeable when I competed in Dubai 24hr in January.

I had major back surgery a couple of years ago and was under the care of the NHS physiotherapy department. Over the next 5 months I was starting to believe I had made a very bad choice in having the surgery however this is where Karl and fitnesstrain.me took control of the situation and designed a rehabilitation program that was specific to the demands that were now being put on my back after the operation. Within 3 months of Karl’s treatment and a result of the ongoing support I was comfortably playing cricket, football, golf (and winning!), tennis, cycling and now my whole physical strength and fitness is better than ever I am in training to make a return to playing rugby. I have had a persistent knee injury that I had seen several physiotherapists for, at a huge cost. I was beginning to think that nothing could be done and that a cortisone injection was my only choice left, that is until a friend referred me to Karl within a few sessions he managed to reduce the pain, increase the ROM and also taught me how to increase the muscle correctly to help stabilise the knee, thanks to him I am back playing football and training happily with no pain.
