Giovanni’s summer set menu

Available Monday to Friday evening & Tuesday to Saturday lunch 

2course £11.95

3 course £15.95

 

Starters

Zuppa del giorno

(daily home made soup of the day with a selection of bread)

Insalata rustica mediterranea 

(warm diced pancetta with mixed leaves, mozzarella, sundried tomato & oregano croutons, drizzled with mustard dressing)

Crostini con pure di piselli e caprino

(toasted Tuscan bread brushed with garlic, olive oil, topped with pure’   of peas, mint & grilled goats cheese)

Scelta di pasta

(Chefs choice of pasta) Starter or main course

 

Main course

Spezzatino  di manzo

(sautéd strips of beef with julliene of courgette , sweet pepper & plum tomato, served with leek mashed potato)

Filletini  impanati di platessa

(deep fried goujon of plaice dusted in herb breadcrumbs, served with hand cut chips,  mixed leaves & tartar sauce)

Cosciotto di pollo con funghi e crema

(boneless chicken thigh with field mushroom wine & cream sauce, served with roast potatoes)

Risotto con carote & timo

(arborio risotto cooked with grated carrots, garlic, sundried tomato & lemon thyme topped with parmesan shavings)

 

Selection of sweets

Coffee extra  

(A selection of meat & fish salads are available on request)
