Christmas Fayre 2011 at Mel Square in Solihull

 

Christmas Fayre Launch Day

Sat 26th November 11am – 6pm

Over 15 stalls with unique gifts and familiar favourites like the German sausage stall and outside bar, perfect for a winter wander. There's a packed launch day including a visit from Father Christmas and his reindeer, Christmas creative crafts, music, dancing and lots of treats.

 

The Fayre is open;

Sun -Wed 10am-7pm and Thurs-Sat 10am-8pm up until 23rd December

 

A great mix of fun and entertainment all day;11:30am until 5:00pm

  • 11:30am – 5:00pm; Christmas creative crafts for kids 

  It’s free with a mixture of magical entertainers to mesmerise the kids


  • 11:30am -4pm; Alcester Victoria Silver Band and Shirley Band Play festive tunes around the town centre

 

  • 12:15pm – 2:30pm; 

  Father Christmas arrives with his real reindeer. Meet Father   Christmas and receive a gift (free of charge)


  • 12:15pm & 2:30pm; Animated Dance

  Local children performing outside Burtons

 

  • 12:15pm, 1:45pm, 3:15pm & 4pm;

  Children’s favourite characters with treats

 

  • 1:00pm   The Rock Choir

  An upbeat spin off TV choir

 

  • 3:15pm – 5pm;

 Meet Father Christmas and receive a free gift


  • 4:00pm; The Rock Choir

  The choir performs around the Christmas tree in Mell Square

 

  • 4:00pm; Snow queen, ice elf and snow cat animated entertainers

 

 

Helter Skelter

Sun 27th November 10am – 5pm

It’s back by popular demand, the wonderful helter skelter 

 

 

Festive Fun

Sat 3rd December 11pm - 3pm

Christmas Fun with Shirley Band playing seasonal favourites, free balloon modelling.

Festive live music

 

 

Sun 4th December 12pm - 3pm

Listen to some festive favourites while you do your Christmas shopping

10th December 12pm – 3pm

Make a Christmas badge and enter the seasonal fancy dress comp with live music from City of Coventry Band for all to enjoy

Come along to a Christmas workshops with Santa and his helpers then afterwards why not get your face painted or have an airbrush temporary tattoo, then have a ride on the Helter Skelter.

Chanukah - Menorah event

Celebrating the Hebrew month of Kislev and the first light will be switch on. 

 

 

Christmas Crafty Fun-Frosty Fun

Thur 22nd Dec @11.30pm - 3pm

Come and see Jack Frost juggling, join in with the Christmas craft workshops and get your face painted or have an airbrush temporary tattoo, then have a ride on the Helter Skelter.  

 

 

Free Parking;

From Thurs 1st Dec until Fri 30th Dec after 6pm Monday to Friday parking is free in Mell Square.
