MONTEM LEISURE CENTRE - SYNERGY HEALTH & FITNESS
You have to see it to believe it. Synergy at Montem is looking 'out of this world' after its recent £1.4m investment. Montem Leisure Centre is one of the regions largest leisure centres where you'll find lots of fun for the whole family. Montem has won national awards for its quality health and fitness facilities and is also accredited by the Inclusive Fitness Initiative for its service to customers with disabilities.
THE GYM
There is a great looking gym with over 100 pieces of the latest state of the art fitness equipment. Each piece of equipment now boasts its own interactive TV screen for your own enjoyment- either enjoy a choice of channels including SKY TV or bring in your own video iPod and watch your own choice of films.
Synergy at Montem hosts over 60 different fitness classes each week. There is something for every taste and is complimented by the new Spinning Studio for our popular Group Cycling classes.
In addition Synergy has a Ladies Only gym which offers all the main features of the main gym but with the added seclusion and privacy within which to enjoy a workout.
SWIMMING
Montem has three indoor pools and a weekly programme that provides swimming opportunities for everyone. Sessions are provided for parents and toddlers, ladies only and people with disabilities.
Regular lane swimming is available for the serious swimmer and our inflatable fun sessions provide lots of fun for the whole family.
Children and adults can learn to swim and improve their swimming abilities through the Swimskool programme. Confident swimmers often choose to join the Dolphin Swimming Club based at Montem Leisure Centre.
SWIMSKOOL
Learn to swim at Montem and Langley Leisure Centre.
Supported by the Amateur Swimming Association, Swimskool offers a comprehensive swimming development programme that will help you and/or your child become confident in the water and learn to swim.
Many of our swimmers eventually go on to join the local swimming club Slough and Eton Dolphins.
All of our teachers are fully qualified and they help the children to gain confidence and enjoy the water.
There are a selection of courses for adults too. It's never too late to learn.

THE SPA
The Spa and Pool offer all Synergy members the chance to unwind and relax. With a choice of Jacuzzi, Sauna, Steam Room, Tropical Experience Shower and Relaxation Beds the Spa is a wonderful place to escape to during a busy day.
Immerse yourself in the timeless luxury of our Spa. Stress just melts away as you abandon yourself to some of the most relaxing experiences imaginable.
If you had a long day at the office, an intensive workout or a long day running around after children then you deserve to unwind and relax in the Synergy Spa.
Sauna
Our new Sauna induces relaxation in the hot, low humidity environment perfect for the mind, body and soul.
Steam Room
Feel invigorated by the therapeutic effects of the Steam Room. The high humidity levels combined with lower temperatures are the perfect way to remove the stresses of the day.
Whirlpool
Feel rejuvenated in the warm, sensual, hydrotherapy bubbles that will gently purify and detoxify, leaving you refreshed and revitalized. An all over body massage for the ultimate relaxation.
Feature Shower
An exhilarating tropical water experience, complimenting the heat therapies of the Sauna and Steam Room. This aqua treatment will give you a new lease of life.
Relaxation loungers
Complete your Spa treatment unwinding in one of our reclining loungers. A moments peace in the business of life.
Changing Rooms
Relaxation begins before you reach the Spa in our exclusive changing area dedicated to Spa members.
Ladies Only
Ladies only sessions are run in the Spa on Tuesdays 8.45pm to 9.30pm, Wednesdays 9.45am to 10.45am, and Fridays 8.00pm to 9.00pm.

Montem has two sports halls which can be hired out for these type of activities:
- football
- basketball
- volleyball
- badminton
- netball
- hockey
- short tennis
Other activity studios host martial arts, wrestling, table tennis, squash and snooker.
Montem has many multipurpose spaces that are available for private hire. The sports hall can be hired out for special events and has tiered seating for 250 people.
Courses take place throughout the year for gymnastics and trampolining.

I really enjoy coming to Hibiscus , Christina and the girls are all so welcoming and friendly. They are so professional in there approach to beauty and laser. Christina's semi-permanent make up is truly the best, so happy with the results. I also love Nida's threading such a tidy finish to my brows! I also enjoy the privacy of a one to one with the Hairdresser Tammy ,I love the colour and the cut. Thankyou all at Hibiscus..xx
Herschel sports is an excellent venue, the staff really care about you and the sporting facilities are second to none. I have a cricket block booking every year between October and March, the admin staff contact me iun August to confirm my booking, send me my contract and away we go. The staff at Herschel always make sure everything is ready on time, and are so welcoming. I just want to say thanks you to them all.
You cant' beat the value for money that you get at this site. There is a wide range of equipment, loads and loads of different classes. Three swimming pools, Friendly and efficient staff. Jacussi, steam and sauna. Large halls for other sports and a massive car park.
I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT ON EVERY OCCASION THAT MYSELF AND FAMILY HAVE VISITED MONTEM LEISURE CENTRE,WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN MADE MORE THAN WELCOME. ALL STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND PROFFESIONAL,AND THE CENTRE ITSELF IS OUTSTANDING.MY SON HAD A BIRTHDAY PARTY A WHILE BACK AND ALL THE CHILDREN HAD A GREAT TIME DUE TO THE STAFF BEING ORGANISED AND FRIENDLY TOWARDS ALL THE CHILDREN.I WOULD DEFENATLY RECOMEND MONTEM TO MY FRIENDS.
Gym has all the latest equipments with great running machines where you can watch TV on the small screens that are on the running machines. Nicely refurbed and membership price is a lot better then other private gyms where you get much more for your money at Montem.
I used Montem for a weekly corporate basketball game and I found them to be very helpful and willing to cater for our needs. Thanks to "The Best of Slough" website for making my search easy.
I have been a member of Montem for over a year now and it is one of the besst leisure centres I have been part of. The gym has just been modernised and there is a tv screen on each treadmill. There is also a ladies only area with all the machines. The swimming pools are great and accomodate all ages. The classes are fab and there is always a time when you can attend. Would highly recommend this leisure centre.
