10-4pm This is an Arts event in association with The Friends of Oare Gunpowder Works - the volunteers group who tend the woods for the benefit of us all. The site is of major environmental and historical significance to the area and a local beauty spot. Well worth a visit. This unique one day event will include local Artists sculpting, carving and sketching utilising the area and materials as a backdrop for their work whilst poets, singers and musicians wander through the woods entertaining all. This is totally Free event but donations will be gratefully received. Refreshments will be available along with guided walks - Times of walks will be posted at the visitors centre which is open every weekend and bank hoildays.
