If you want to find out more about the BBC Local TV news pilot, their Roadshow will be coming to Tesco on Arlington Way, Shrewsbury, next Tuesday from 11am to 6pm.
It is part of a scheme that is trialing local television news bulletins in six regions across the Midlands, including Shropshire. BBC Local TV looks to offer special features, sports, travel and entertainment news in 10-minute updates every hour on digital satellite.
If you go along to the Tesco's event, there are a number of prizes to be won, including sitting with a BBC commentary team at a local football match and a make-over courtesy of a professional BBC make-up artist.
