We found the inn on the best of and thought we'd treat ourselves to an anniversary meal. 5years together, wanted something special. We ended up having a gorgeous dinner, intimate yet fun, and the food really was to die for. Drinks in the bar first too, I should say. Great anni!

Great restaurant in town, lovely food, good service and modern decor. Very swish. Cocktails then dinner... what more could you want?!
An AA Red Rosette restaurant and AA 4 star hotel in Shrewsbury set in landscaped gardens just a short distance from town. Dating back to Tudor times, The Albright Hussey Manor Hotel is one of Shropshire's most historical and beautiful buildings.

My favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury. Nice to get away from town once in a while, and The Albright Husseys restaurant is in an amazing location just a short drive away. Swans, moat, landscaped gardens...! First class food and service.
One of the best dining reputations in the county. Built in 1576, Drapers Hall Restaurant is located in the heart of Shrewsbury, offering fine dining for a wide range of clientele. From a fun night out with friends to a romantic dinner for two, they now even offer luxurious accommodation.

What a find! We had a lovely weekend visiting Shrewsbury and had seen the reviews for Drapers Hall. So we found the restaurant beautifully tucked away yet in the centre of town. A lovely evening followed, from a warm welcome to an attentive and personal service and of course wonderful food. The traditional setting was such a refreshing change to the cold modern feel of so many fine dining restaurants. Even though we're not from Shrewsbury, I just had to write a review saying 'thank you' and that we will be back!
The Fine Dining Restaurant at The Golden Cross Hotel, Shrewsbury is one of the most historic and interesting places to eat in Shropshire. With a wonderful, seasonal menu, this unique restaurant has customers of all ages and palates flocking.

The Golden Cross is our favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury. We only moved to the area recently, so haven't tried them all yet (!) but the Golden Cross has always been warm and friendly and the food first class
