Linda, Kathryn and Louise welcome you to Whitley Crest Boarding Kennels and Cattery in Shrewsbury. Their family-run business is set in a beautiful rural location within 500 acres of Shropshire farmland off the A458.
Viewing of their Shrewsbury kennels and cattery is welcomed and recommended during opening hours - no need for an appointment! The Whitley Crest team feels it is important for owners to see where their pet will be staying first, and you are even free to bring your dog along to meet everyone.
For their clients' peace of mind, Whitley Crest is proud of the fact that their Shrewsbury kennels and cattery they are annually inspected and licensed to comply with the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963 by Shrewsbury Council, and they are licensed to board up to 65 dogs and 25 cats.
Shrewsbury Boarding Kennels
The kennels are all under cover and each one consists of an indoor heated bedroom area with an outside exercise run. Each dog is supplied a plastic bed and cosy fleece plus you are of course welcome to bring along any of your own treats and toys!
Each dog is exercised daily as well as taking part in 'play time' in either of the two securely fenced specifically designed dog play areas.
Whitley Crest builds a trusting relationship with each dog, ensuring they all feel comfortable and happy in their surroundings and that they all have something to look forward to throughout the day.
Whitley Crest has three large kennels that can accommodate up to five dogs from the same family. They also have a separate kennel block for small dogs.
Shrewsbury Luxury Cattery
The luxury cattery at Whitley Crest has been purpose built to a modern design. Each of the 15 bedrooms is nice, cosy and heated and leads on to a spacious play area with an outside view. Each cat will enjoy daily cuddles and grooming whilst soft music plays in the background.
Their Shrewsbury cattery has a double chalet available for three or more cats from the same family.
