Stage 2 is the most well-established Performing Arts Academy in Shropshire. A family-run business with over 450 talented pupils, Stage 2 encourages and develops young people's creativity in a fun, relaxed and professional environment.
The Shrewsbury based performing arts school offers drama, dance and singing classes for young people of all ages, shapes, sizes, nationalities and abilities. The team is experienced, energetic and caring - offering your children an excellent curriculum of education. Their performing arts classes in Shrewsbury take place weekday evenings and Saturdays. Currently there are over 30 classes a week!
Stage 2 now also offers Adult classes in Drama and Dance.
Drama
Drama classes can be used to develop social skills, communication, the imagination and creativity. Drama gives all involved the chance to lose their inhibitions and most importantly have fun. Dance
There are dance classes of various genres including Jazz, Tap, Modern, Theatre, Ballet and Urban. Stage 2 offers ISTD exams in Dance. Ages 4+ to Adults.
Singing
Band Factory is a concept designed for young people who have the musical talent and love to sing. You can come in and use Stage 2's professional facilities and sing the music you love with the assistance of experts who are there to help you with performance techniques and vocal advice.
Holiday Workshops
Stage 2 Performing Arts Academy offers workshops in Shrewsbury throughout the summer holidays. It's the whole package of Drama, Dance and Singing or you can choose Dance only. During the workshops, students work towards a production, which they then perform to family and friends at the end of the week.
The large Stage 2 studio is also available to hire for business presentations and seminars in Shrewsbury. The venue has been booked by a number of Shrewsbury companies, from Solicitors to Financial Advisers such as Lowrie-Herz Associates.
