We always have a great time at Romolo's. Wonderful location, good atmosphere upstairs in the pluch cocktail lounge, live musci every so often and of course lovely food. The menu is reasonably priced too, especially the lunchtime deals available. Highly recommended. Well done, Franco and team!

A HUGE thank you to Franco, Kim and the team at Romolo's for my recent 'special' birthday day. There were 16 of us in total and we enjoyed drinks upstairs first in the cocktail bar. Prosecco, Champagne, canapes... then moved down to our table after pre-ordering. Everything was seamless; the service, food (you've got to try a Romolo's steak!), wine list.... Everyone had a fantastic evening and it even took the edge off getting older! So if you're planning a celebratory night out, call Romolo's.

Romolo Restaurant is absolutely fantastic. As a vegetarian it was a wonderful meal and excellent service. I definitely recommend.

I treated my team of 24 discerning (well, most of them!) Hair Stylists to Xmas Diner at Romolo’s. A ‘Class Venue’ with Excellent customer service, all the staff were extremely accommodating, the food was first class, not one complaint. Many Thanks to you all at Romolo, will be back.... if you’ll have us!

My favourite bar in Shrewsbury! Lovely cocktails and a nice, welcoming, safe atmosphere. No gangs of "youths" coming in for a pound a pint, if you know what I mean.... I've also eaten in the restaurant a couple of times - good food and a very competitively priced set menu.

Have had a number of top nights out at Romolo's now. Love the atmosphere and it's good value for money, with set menus as well as a la carte. It's party time at the weekend and the bar upstairs has some great cocktails. All in all, great food, great fun.

We booked a large table at Romolo for a family party and a fantastic night was had by all. From champagne in the lounge first to superbly cooked food and friendly, attentive staff... it was a great success. There was a fun, lively atmosphere, perfect for a Saturday night out. A special food recommendation has to be for Romolo's fillet steak - about 6 of us asked for rare, medium rare and I know mine was up there with the best I've ever tasted.

Went to Romolo for lunch for the first time and it was wonderful. A lovely menu, great-tasting food and superb service. The waiter was very helpful and friendly and even my crying baby granddaughter was made to feel welcome! I will definitely be going back and I will definitely be having the Sticky Toffee Pudding again....

I have eaten at Romolo a few times and have also visited their cocktail bar (more than a few times...!). It's a smart, chilled place with friendly service and an upmarket buzz without silly price tags. Good luck to the team. I hope they do well. A fine addition to nights out in Shrewsbury.
