Oswestry Martial Arts Centre Information

Oswestry Martial Arts Centre (OMAC) was set up in early 2010 to offer a range of high quality, fun and affordable martial arts classes in Shropshire. The centre is non profit making and managed by an executive committee.

The OMAC dojo has 1,000sq ft of mat space, a workout area, punchbags and recreational seating. Refreshments and supplements are also available to purchase at excellent prices. The martial arts centre attracts a range of students, from children and teenagers to adults in their 40s and 50s looking to improve their fitness.

AMOK! KIDS! has been described as a "dynamic new approach to self defence". These Shropshire martial arts classes teach children to how to recognize and best avoid potential conflicts, as well as instilling the traditional martial arts values of confidence and respect.

OMAC is also home to Freefighters MMA, where people can train in the world's fastest growing sport. MMA is fantastic for fitness but a number of Freefighters compete, from amateur level through to professional.

All this plus Ju Jitsu, Kickboxing with the Lee Matthews Academy, Judo and fantastic cardio classes to improve your fitness.
