Freefighters MMA is a Mixed Martial Arts club in Oswestry - ideally situated for amateurs and experienced martial artists from Shrewsbury to Wrexham.
Establishing his club in 2005, head coach Morgan Nunns has a skill base stretching across martial arts including Muay Thai, Freestyle Wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His own competive record stretches across dozens of fights on the Mixed Martial Arts circuit - open mat, ring or cage. So you'll be learning from someone who has been there himself!

Some of the Freefighters compete around the country at a semi pro level. Others attend their MMA lessons in Shropshire for fitness or to learn effective techniques for self defence. Mixed Martial Arts involves training against a resisting opponent, something you may not find in Traditional Martial Arts clubs.

Training at Freefighters MMA in Oswestry is always performed in a safe and controlled manner, however, working to your individual skills and fitness levels.
The MMA classes are kept fun and informal, which is why membership has been steadily growing. Morgan also invites guest instructors along to teach according to their own particular specialities.

I've been training at Free Fighters for the last 4 months. Fantastic training environment with top level coaching and a wealth of experience amongst its members. A great facility to have in the community and well worth a visit. Well done to all those behind setting this gym up.
I highly recommend the club; if it wasn't for the Free-Fighters I would be doing the same as all my friends after work - going down the pub! I joined six months ago to increase my fitness and to learn a martial art. Everybody there is really friendly and welcoming, the sessions are great fun and a really worthwhile activity. As well as increasing fitness and health levels, it's a great laugh, hard work, and great for meeting cool people.
Went to freefighters last night and had a fantastic time. I have no previous martial arts experience but found it suitable for what I wanted to do. Everyone was welcoming and worked with me at my level. Highly recommended!
