On my journey travelling from North Wales to Wolverhampton I happened upon this plant centre. Being a keen gardener and wanting to venture out into growing vegetables I was eager to look at the wide choice of seed potatoes on offer. The choice was great and being unsure as I have never grown these I saught advice from a friendly guy called John. He gave me helpful hints and tips; I found him most helpful and informative. I will definitely re-visit this plant centre on a regular basis.

I also noticed the tearoom on the way back to my car. I enjoyed a very pleasant lunch looking out onto beautiful gardens.

I will definitely re-visit this gem and recommend it to my friends.. Thanks you, Oakgate.

very nice, friendly place. We had a browse around and saw some wonderful plants and shrubs. Real good 'feel' about the place; the staff were helpful & knowledgeable and we ended up buying quite a few things for our new home. Then some tea and cake in their cafe next door! A nice afternoon so thanks to the oakgate team

I havenʼt tried the tearooms yet but everything else is superb. What struck me most was the friendly staff. No pushy salespeople - just helpful and clearly knowledgeable advice. I live in Telford and it was a lovely drive there; a nice afternoon out. Thank you, Oakgate!
