Being new to the area last year, we wanted a really good kennel for our Labrador Toby and found Netley on thebestof. The testimonials were so good we decided to give them a try - and so glad we did! A fantastic facility, with everyone there clearly real dog lovers who do everything to make the 'guests' feel at home. The kennels themselves are spotless and the walking facilities great (always one to one walks not groups). Toby has now stayed at Netley 4 or five times, usually just a couple of days but also for 12 days, and is completely happy to go there - in fact he is off out of the car like a 'long dog' without a backwards glance! Toby has a recurring health problem and Barb and Den are always happy to administer his tablets ( which in fairness he takes without any fuss) if required. I would really recommend Netley highly - it is a great comfort to know that when we go away and can't take Toby with us he can be left in such safe and caring hands.

We are so happy!!! We left our Staffordshire bull terrier and Bengal cat in the kennels and cattery for 1 week 23/07/2011 until 31/07/2011. Netley, you were so professional and provided an excellent service - my pets have come out so happy and in good health I would not hesitate in recommending you to my friends, neighbours & family. WAS RECOMMENDED NETLEY BY A FRIEND SO I WENT TO HAVE A LOOK FOR MYSELF AND WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH WHAT I SAW; SPACIOUS CLEAN UNITS FOR THE CATS WITH PLENTY OF TOYS AND HEATED BASKETS IF IT IS COLD. I BOOKED MY CAT IN FOR 5 DAYS OVER THE HALF TERM HOLS. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME MY CAT HAD BEEN TO A CATTERY AND I WAS SO PLEASED THAT HE IS BOOKED IN FOR 2 WEEKS IN THE SUMMER. We left our two dogs at netley kennels for 4 weeks in Feb this year. We were nervous about leaving them as Polly our Sheltie is a rescue dog and takes a lot of patience and also Rufus our Chihuahua was only 4 months old at the time and was a bit of a handful.

We had looked at lots of kennels and had almost given up on finding somewhere for them when we were recommended netley. Instantly on arrival we felt reassured, the place was highly professional and you could tell all the dogs were given a lot of attention.

When we collected our dogs they were clean, happy, well looked after and exhausted!!!

We have already booked them in for a weekend and will definitely use them again in future!

From taking my dogs to the kennels on a number of occasions, I have been extremely satisfied with the amount of care and attention my dogs have recieved. Which gives me piece of mind when I am away. I would highly recommend Netley to anyone who wants to treat their dogs to a fantastic Doggy holiday. Well Done Den, Barb and all the staff.

This is by far the best boarding kennels I have used. The first things that strike you when you walk in are the lovely spacious environment and the fact that it is absolutely immaculate. The owners are delightful and genuinely adore dogs.
My dogs are brothers and enormous, bouncy greyhound X german shepherds who are far from easy dogs. They were provided with a lovely large kennel to share and were very relaxed and happy when we picked them up. In fact they were happier to see the owner of the kennels than me!!!! Usually my dogs lose weight in kennels, not this time, they were in suberb condition with no typical kennel smell. This was quickly explained by the individual attention given to them, they were given three good walks a day and lots of free running play time in a secure grassy paddock. The dogs are not just kicked out to get on with it, they have their own person who goes in and plays with them, seeming never to get tired of throwing a ball! 100% recommended.

We have been using Netley Boarding Kennels for over a year now. Our dog, Bobby, is challenging at the best of times but Den and Barb always take the time to settle him in and reassure me that he has behaved. Kennels are clean and all staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone.

We recently took our cat to be looked after for 2 weeks. I was really really nervous, it was the first time Millie went to a cattery. When we collected her, she looked so happy. Barb and Den had been spending time playing with her. Her room was spacious, clean and comfortable. She loved the heated bed! I now have no worries about taking Millie to Netley Boarding kennels and cattery in the future. I can enjoy my holidays without worrying if she will be ok!Thank you Barb and Den

Friendly, nice accommodation, good service and family-run. Couldnʼt ask for much more really. We were putting our dogs into kennels for the 1st time and were pretty nervous. But we neednʼt have worried. You can tell that the Oakleys love animals and that is probably the most important thing.

Our dog Scooby stayed at Netley last year and i am going to ring Den to book him in for this year, Scooby loved being there and i have had no hesitation in recommending Netley to our friends.

On the 3 occassions that we have used the kennels we have been very impressed with the standard of them; spacious, clean and homely. Music is always playing, they are warm and there has been a cosy fleece bed for our dog. Mr and Mrs Oakley have been friendly and helpful. You are invited to take your dog into their kennel and you can see that all of the dogs are in the same standard of kennel. We are also pleased that they walk the dogs 3 times a day. Excellent - we will use again.

My dog stayed at Netley Boarding kennels over Christmas. While I am sure she was looked after very well,I was very disappointed in the delivery and collection service. I had arranged to have her delivered back to me on the sat p.m. about 4. When I rang at 3 to confirm I was home I was told it would be the next day and Den would ring me back, I waited and sent a text giving my phone details reminding them of the agreement my dog would be returned on that afternoon. I rang again at 6 to be told Den was in a shop and would ring me back!! I finally got a call after 7 to be told I would get my dog back before 8 in the morning.
I feel very disappointed in this service and feel if a collection and delivery service is advertised the times agreed should be adhered to. I also had to pay for another night!

THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT WE USED KENNELS FOR OUR DOG AND WE WERE VERY WARY AND WORRIED.
BUT AFTER SEEING THE PROPERTY AND MEETING DEN AND BARB I WAS HAPPY TO LEAVE OUR DOG,
SHE WAS WELL LOOKED AFTER AND SEEMED OK.

My 13 year old lab Moss, who is not in the best of health, is always very happy at Netley. Den and Barb look after him very well and I can leave him knowing he is in capable hands, II can recommend the kennels to anyone

we have recently had our dog in netley kennels my husband drop him there and i went to pick him up only going on word of mouth through a friend i was extremly please with the look at first which i feel counts,then how happy my german shepard look in his kennel i would not hesitate to put him there again i also have a border collie who is old and on medication who has only been in kennels once but i would put him in there with peace of mind they will be looked after as if they were there own

Our dogs love staying at Netley. Dennis & Barbara are superb at what they do. We can go away without the slightest anxiety and that is a great start to a break or a holiday. They deserve every success with their new business.

THESE KENNELS ARE THE BEST IN SHROPSHIRE,A REAL CREDIT TO BARB AND DEN FOR THE WAY THE ANIMALS ARE CARED FOR.THE SETUP IS EXCELLENT AND OUR RETRIEVER THOMAS LOVES GOING THERE,WHEN WE GO AWAY THOMAS HAS HIS HOLIDAYS ASWELL.WE HAVE TRIED OTHER KENNELS BUT NETLEY KENNELS ARE THE ONLY ONES WE WILL USE FROM NOW ON.THOMAS HAS BEEN THERE 3 TIMES IN THE LAST 2MONTHS.

My neighbour Mrs Whitehouse has been using Nettley Kennels for a while now and asked me to post a review for her to say she thinks there service is exceptional. Her dog is always happy and well groomed when he returns home and she is very very impressed with their service. Highly recommended.

we recently took our dog to be looked after at these kennels and we were really pleased with the care he recieved. he didnt want to come home! we have used other kennels which were nowhere near as clean or welcoming so we highly recommend Netley Boarding Kennels.
