Macmillan Cancer Support (Shropshire) is a charitable organisation that provides medical, emotional and financial help to those affected by cancer.

 

Every year over 2,000 people in Shropshire are diagnosed with cancer

 

The Macmillan charitable organisation in Shrewsbury provides care and support through a number of channels:

  • People in Shropshire benefit from 27 Macmillan doctors, nurses and therapists all specialising in cancer care
  • Every year Macmillan Cancer Support (Shropshire) gives tens of thousands of pounds in patient grants
  • Charitable donations and fundraising enable a network of support groups
  • The Macmillan Cancer Line provides free information to those living with cancer
  • There is also the Macmillan YouthLine for 12-21 year olds

 

The Shrewsbury fundraising team is campaigning for people affected by cancer. Macmillan Cancer Support believes that everyone should have access to the same care and treatments regardless of who they are or where they live.
