The Dentist
Jonathan Lampard has over 20 years' experience in dentistry, having qualified from Bristol University in 1984.
He gained further experience as a House Officer at Bristol Dental Hospital and as a Resident Senior House Officer in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Following work abroad and General Dental Practice in the South of England, he established his own dentists (Oxon Dental Care) in Shrewsbury in 1998.
The Practice
The Shrewsbury dental practice is situated on the Welshpool Road near Oxon Park & Ride. There is on-site parking and the dentists is close to regular bus services.
Jonathan Lampard is a sole practitioner and has a team of two part time hygienists and dental surgery assistants. It was a conscious decision to keep the business a small, family orientated general practice, thus ensuring continuity of treatment and care. Treatment for adults is available under private contract. Jonathan is well aware that the cost of private dentistry can appear high. As a consequence he works hard to keep his prices competitive and will always explain, in detail, all treatments and associated costs. He also offers a Practice Scheme which gives members 20% discount on any treatment or hygienist appointments.
Children can still join the practice and be seen for NHS treatment.
