I went to Hair Beauty by James for the first time yesterday. I have very fine hair, which a lot of hairdressers seem to find difficult to cut. This wasn't the case with Ginny! She knew exactly what would suit my hair, and it looked fantastic when I left! Just wish I'd tried this salon before! Everyone is very friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the cut is superb.

Hair by James I consider a professional hairdressers at great value for money. Ginny at Hair by James knows how to do a great cut and colour. After visiting several hairdressers in Shrewsbury I really feel so excited that I have found someone who listens and is able to do an outstanding cut far better than a well-known hairdresser at nearly half the price!

This was my first visit to Hair Beauty by James. The salon is tucked away down a side street over The Dresser. My stylist Doug did a fantastic job colouring and cutting my hair, I feel 10 years younger! I really liked the fact that I was not on display in a shop window - it's good to have a bit of privacy from the general public. Thank you to all the staff who made me feel so welcome.

I went to Hair Beauty by James for the first time in December having just moved back to Shrewsbury. I came out feeling a million dollars with a fabulous hair cut and a spring in my step. The salon is not at street level so feels that bit more relaxing as there is no hustle and bustle outside the window. I will definitely be going back.

I have been a client of Hair Beauty by James for some time now. Every time I go there I get a really warm welcome from everyone. The stylists are excellent and they actually listen to how you want your hair and they also discuss with you on what style, colour etc suits you. You leave there feeling a "million dollars".

They also do "hair up", which is fantastic for that special night or day out. Everyone makes sure that your experience is very special. I would highly recommend going there to anyone who wants first class, top quality Hair and Beauty treatments.

Ginny is great - I was stuck in a hair rut and she was able to suggest lots of new ideas. Their experience made it easy for me to be more adventurous with my hair in both the style and colour options. Definitely recommend them as I always leave feeling so much better than when I went in; sounds obvious but this isn't always the case with hairdressers!

The owners have transformed the salon, which is a little oasis tucked away in Roushill (over The Dresser). The stylists cater for all ages. No passing public glaring at you as you are transformed, whilst relaxing with a cup of tea and an up-to-date mag. Claire and Louise provide a warm welcome an in the Beauty Suite and are extremely professional and discrete. I can thoroughly recommend the ear candling by Ann; absolute bliss!

I've been going to Hair Beauty by James for a long time now. My hairdresser is Holly, who might I add is amazing. She knows what I like and how I like it done. I have my colour done every 6/8 weeks, and a cut, but tend to go almost every friday or saturday for a wash and blow dry ready to go out. The colours the salon provide are top quality, as is the service. All the girls in the salon are friendly and make you feel so welcome (and the coffee is yummy). If you are thinking of changing your hairdressers I would do it now and go to Hair Beauty By James, and ask for Holly. You will never look back!!!

A warm welcome from the owner Ginny, who together with her own skills has a formed a dedicated, friendly and experienced team. Set in Roushill it may not be noticed as well as the High Street hairdressers but please try them. I have been going for 20 years and consider them all to be friends.

I go to Hair Beauty by James every 6 to 8 weeks for a cut and colour, and Holly is my hairdresser. She is very trendy and professional and always knows how my hair works and what best suits me. Many people compliment me on how great my hair looks and ask where I get it done. The prices are very reasonable, the salon is spotless and there is always a great atmosphere. All the other employees are helpful and friendly too. Holly and Natalie are also very good at spray tans - I have just had one done for a weekend away and will be going again just before my holiday. I would recommend Holly and this salon for any hair or beauty treatments.
