I love that there is so much under one roof, the ambiance and diversity of the Sanctuary, the smells and tastes of the coffee shop and the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. I love spending my time there, always come out better off than when I went in. Keep up the great work.

What a find! This is a very affordable, upmarket but relaxed and friendly business. They put their clients' needs first and deliver in a caring, yet very professional manner.I have been back 3 days in a row for massages and have recommended The Sanctuary to three other friends!
I love this place! I feel calm and peaceful the moment I enter, and have always had excellent pedicures here. I really like the way that the features of the original church are used to enhance the look and feel of the place - not just your run of the mill place at all!

Girls Alive Fitness in Shrewsbury... What a way to spend 30minutes! The staff and members are so friendly and the atmosphere is electric! Also, the results you get going 3 times a week are amazing. Any age, fitness level or size can use the circuit and achieve great results. Pop in for a free trial where you will be made welcome by staff and members, which will leave you looking forward to your next visit.They also arrange social evenings, such as, line-dancing, belly-dancing or a get together over a few drinks!! Women In Mind also has the best beauty sanctuary in town offering a wide range of treatments and a cafe retreat on the top floor; where Libby makes amazing cakes!!! WELL WORTH A VISIT!
The best gym a woman could ever want! If you don't stick to your healthy lifestyle with the support of these wonderful ladies then there's no hope. Fantastic facilities and a friendly environment; I now look forward to "gym days" rather than dread them. =]
It is unique - set apart from any other. You will always find something in the wellness store to suit, whether a small add-on gift or a main present. A personal service like no other and it's a pleasure to spend in this delightful shop.

As someone who found the idea of joining a gym a bit daunting, the relaxed and caring attitude of the staff at women in mind creates a perfect atmosphere and one that I would be happy to recommend.
A friendly welcome on every visit from people who care. A great feeling of belonging with ladies of all ages, you can work hard at the gym, enjoy a relaxing treatment upstairs or have a drink or snack in the cafe. This is all under the one roof of a beautiful old church building right in the heart of Shrewsbury Town. I never fail to leave without a good feeling inside. As the ladies gym business celebrates its first birthday I wish it lots more and I know I will continue as a very happy member.
everyone at the gym is so supportive and friendly - they really keep you going when it gets tough! praise and encouragement are always forthcoming. lovely environment, good equipment. therapy suite is very relaxing and the cafe is good too - they make lovely latte. every part of women in mind is good.

A big Thank You to all the staff at the Girls Alive Fitness gym for the help and support and friendship they have given me since I joined in July 09. They have made coming to the gym such a nice experience. It has given me a complete life change from being a couch potato for the past 7 years. I can’t believe I have stuck to it since last July. I have lost 3 ½ stone.
A wonderful sanctuary in the middle of Shrewsbury. Everyone needs to get away once in a while! WIM is perfect for ladies looking to treat themselves of for meeting up with friends in the top floor cafe (lift access available). A true gem.
This place is worth shouting about. What an amazing find - Serenity is the best in so many ways! 1. The staff are fab and so considerate and the service is excellent!2. It is the best gym in town - women only and such a nice environment. I lost far more inches than I realised I had :)3. Fit flops are the best - my husband says my bum really does look good!! And no winter relapses as they have cosy ones for Winter as well as ones for Summer!4. The gym and leisure clothes are brilliant - a fantastic range.5. The spa is the most amazing place to spoil yourself with a massage or facial (because we are worth it)6. And the coffee shop is to die for! And it is healthy too!It is a great place to pause from the stress of Christmas shopping - or just to have a break! Thank you.
This is the best gym experience any woman can get! Every piece of equipment in the circuit training is beneficial and the ladies who work at Women in Mind are lovely - always very welcoming and happy to help. You only spend 30 seconds at a time on each piece of equipment so there's no chance to 'flag' too much on any one of them. It's a brilliant set up and all the women who go are really nice. This is definitely a good place to be (not to mention the delicious meals you can get in the restaurant!)
Had a massage with Tessa Kirk. I saw my chiropractor a few days later and she commented that my shoulders and neck had never been so easy to adjust. The best massage, only wish I was in Shrewsbury more often! Women in Mind is a lovely and friendly place.
I have to say I have to really discipline myself to go to a gym as it is not at the top of my list of favorite things to do. Hhowever, I do find the Gym at Serenity a delight. The atmosphere is inviting, the equipment new, and there is always someone at hand to answer questions and give encouragement. I like the circuit of just half an hour, changing positions every 30 seconds, which surprisingly is more then enough on each piece, eliminating boredom and over working of any one group of muscles. There is availability of a nice hot shower to follow, and if wanted a nice Health and Beauty Sanctuary, and Cafe upstairs. The whole venue at Serenity is a fantastic package for any women wanting to live a vibrant and healthy Lifestyle and more than worth its weight in gold.
Since starting to walk my dog into work I have found that my poor feet have been suffering - however - a quick trip to see Carmen at Women in Mind soon sorted me out ! I purchased a pair of MBTʼs under Carmenʼs supervision and they are amazing and a dream to walk in and I actually feel like they are doing me some good!Many thanks Carmen for excellent service and advice - I need a winter pair now too..Olivia Willcocks
fit flops - YAY! I pop in to women in mind every now and then for a nice coffee and a gossip with the girls but Iʼve never really looked at all the clothes theyʼve got on the ground floor! Cool leisurewear, trendy, leading names. And fit flops rule! Youʼve got to get some!
We spent a pleasant, undisturbed hour or two in this uniquecoffee shop, and were able to discuss a difficult family matterin very peaceful surroundings, with a fine view over thehistoric rooves of Shrewsbury to the outlying countryside,sampling the "delicacies of the house". A general feelingof "well-being" certainly came over us that afternoon!
What a fantastic place, the location, set up and staff are truely exceptional. With service and support like this, any similar business will struggle to match the quality found at WIM. If that is not enough then Bobbyʼs cakes and Laura and Carmenʼs desire to help you with anything really add icing to this delicious experience. 1st class recommendation all the way.
A real retreat for those who want to pamper themselves, this family run business is very well run and the staff are very friendly. Spread over 3 floors, the ground floor sells stylish sportswear and trainers, middle floor has a selection of treatment rooms and beauty clinic, and the top floor has an excellent coffee shop. The business is housed in beautiful building, and there are exceptional views of Shrewsbury from the coffee shop.
