Cute Tips is a Shrewsbury salon offering a wide range of nail and beauty treatments in Shrewsbury. Owner Georgina Boulger, together with Manager Gemma Siverns, are highly trained and Gemma holds a Master Certificate from the Creative Academy Standard of Excellence.
Cute Tips opened over 15 years ago - the first nail bar in Shrewsbury - at St. Julian's Friars but relocated and expanded to Claremont Hill in the Summer of 2010. They are Members of the Association of Nail Technicians, so you know you are being looked after by nail technicians in Shrewsbury who are fully qualified and fully insured.
Georgina and Gemma have just introduced a NEW product to the salon called GelColour by O.P.I. Cute Tips is currently the only nail bar in Shrewsbury to offer this service. A luxury GelColour manicure costs £25.

WOW the new salon is absolutely amazing. Everything about the new salon is stunning. The girls are lovely and all the treatments they offer sound great. I've recentley had my eyebrows done by April and I was really nervous about having the treatment done after a bad experiance somewhere else but she's done a great job and I've know booked in for my next treatment. Gemma has done me a full set of acrylic nails and I'm really really pleased with them. I can't recommend Cute Tips enough and the Beauty Boutique is the nicest enviroment I've been to in a long time xx
I went to Cute Tips to try out their new Fake Bake Spray Tan and was really impressed! I've had spray tans before and always looked orange but this tan was really natural and totally streak free. I'm so pleased with the tan I'm going to have it for my wedding. The girls made me feel really at ease as it's not easy being naked in front of somebody you don't know. I totally recommend going to Cute Tips for a spray tan - it's brilliant x
I would like to say thanks to cute tips for the good job on my nails. I've been to another nail salon before and wasn't very happy there but at cute tips I like the way they do my nails and get so many choices of acrylic colours etc. It's friendly too - I will highly recommend them to friends and family.

I just want to say a big THANK YOU to Cute Tips as they are the only nail salon who have been able to sort out my horrible, bitten nails! I've been a nail biter for years and have been to many other salons for help and advice but I've never been happy with the service any of them provided. The girls at Cute Tips have made my nails look fantastic and I've now managed to stop biting my nails and it's all down to them. I will continue to go to Cute Tips as the girls are really friendly, the salon is very clean and they did an amazing job sorting my horrible nails out. I've been to many salons over the years to have my nails done but Cute Tips have been the best by far! I'm thrilled with my nails and the service I received and will continue to be a client there. The staff are very professional and friendly and the salon is very clean and modern, unlike some I've been to! I was recommended to Cute Tips and wasn't disappointed! The girls were so friendly and the salon had a great atmosphere. I wanted a salon that did Minx nails and I'm sure Cute Tips was the only place that did them. The staff at cute tips are very friendly. I love to sit and chat whilst having a treatment. I don't get to go very often but when I do the staff always know who you are and always have a smile for you, which I think is great. The sevice is second to none.... Keep up the good work, girls xx
What a refreshing change to find a salon with experienced nail technicians who know what they're talking about and give a personal service every time! My sister and I have been going to Cute Tips for approximately 8 years. We live in Wrexham, which is quite a long way to travel. We do this because we are pleased with the service and facilities provided. We have no hesitation in recommending Cute Tips when people say "Your nails are lovely"... which they are.
Can I just say firstly Gemma is so lovely but the treatments she offers are the best. I am a fake tan queen and have tried all the salons within and around Shrewsbury but the fake tan at Cute Tips is the best colour, quickest (10 mins to apply) and NO streaks at all. You do not feel uncomfortable taking your clothes off as she makes you feel at ease. Also, the nails look so natural - I have a 2 year old and therefore have my hands in water all day either washing up or in the bath - they last me 3 weeks at least!! Where normally at other salons only 2 max. All I want to say really is I believe that Cute Tips is the best salon within and around Shrewsbury and she is not rewarded enough for her hard work. I have been going to Cute Tips for many years now and I can honestly say that every visit is a real pleasure. Customer service is of the highest and consistant standard. My nails are always perfect and any treatment I have always exceeds my expectations. I cannot recommend Cute Tips highly enough.
I can't recommend Cute Tips highly enough. You walk out of the salon with great nails and the feeling that you've just had a chat with a friend. From the tanning treatments to the pedicure it's top-to-toe pampering. For my 40th birthday everyone knew that there was only one present for me - Cute Tips vouchers!! Gemma has been doing my nails for about 3 years now and even if a nail salon opened on my doorstep and they were free I wouldn't go anywhere else! My nails always look fantastic and often are complimented by my friends and colleagues. Gemma is always flexible with appointments due to my work commitments and will always fit me in on the rare occasion I have a nail emergency! My appointments are always a treat and now having known Gemma for some time we can gossip and share stories, making the appointment fly by. I would highly recommend anyone who has never had their nails done before or anyone who has had a bad experience that you are in safe and expert hands with Gemma. She also gives the best advice on colours and shape... A true professional!
I went to Cute Tips for the first time last week and as soon as I arrived I knew I was going to walk out of there with a smile on my face! It began with a luxury Pedicure on the fantastic massaging chair - it was amazing. I then had an acrylic overlay of my natural nails (I didn't realise this could be done but it meant I could keep my natural nails but they look a lot better!). I was in the Salon about an hour and a half and was made to feel very welcome and Gemma's professional attitude gave me complete confidence. She was clearly very experienced, great at what she does. From what I gathered, most of her clients are regulars which proves what a great service she provides. Thank you, Cute Tips!
I thought iʼd treat myself to a new set of nails for my 21st birthday. I have long nails myself naturally, so never really thought about having acryllics done. Iʼd heard good things about cute tips though from friends who had visited the salon so i booked myself in with Gemma. She sounded lovely on the phone and I was greeted with such a warm welcome. She explained exactly what she was doing as she went along and gave me lots of info on how to care for my new nails. I felt a million dollars as a left the salon. I decided to get a spray tan whilst i was there, so i was really ready for my big night out! Iʼve been back since and iʼm always greeted with the warmest of smiles. I have also visited the salon with my sister, before her wedding. I chose Gemma to give our manicures to make her special day extra special. She deleivered and we both left feeling very happy. I could not recommend Cute tips enough - itʼs just the thing all us girls need, lots of pampering, especially in this winter weather!

I have been to several places around Shrewsbury to find somewhere where that the acrylic nail extensions are to the standard that i like - and Iʼm fussy! - and Cute Tips is the only place i recommend. Itʼs so hard to find somewhere that does great nail extensions - and doesnʼt used electronic files on your fingers like drills - and its great that cute tips donʼt!! Three generations of my family go to this salon and we have Gemma do our nails every four weeks, they last extremely well on all three of us and are very reasonably priced for the quality, friendly professional service and lovely environment. we all had our nails done for my mums wedding and we were all very pleased they were still perfect at the end of the two weeks abroad - even lugging our cases around there were no breakages - fab! I also like to experiment with decoration on my nails and Gemma always has lovely ideas for extra pretty or sparkly nails that donʼt cost the earth, which are lovely and subtle for that bit of extra something! (o: I also regularly use the spray tan booth which gives gorgeous colour and coverage. its not at all streaky or orange as you find with many fake tans - which i hate! its really natural and golden brown and lasts longer than a week! Iʼd definitely recommend this salon to everyone, as a girl whoʼs always had acrylic nails since i was 19 and has tried quite a few salons in a few different towns, i am glad that my favourite place to go is here in Shrewsbury! 5***** for Cute Tips! - Highly Recommended!
I have been to many nail salons but to date I have never found professionalism as I did at Cute tips. Gemma, who did my nails, did a truely exceptional job and I am extremely pleased with the result and the length of time they have lasted. I recently moved here from the US and search all over for a place to do my nails. After doing my research on the web, I found Cute Tips. I can say that after going in to the shop and having Kelly doing my nails I am not disappointed. My nails have never looked better! So glad to have finally found you!!!
Had my wedding nails done there. I had to make sure I got it right for my big day, obviously, and there doesnʼt come much better than Cute Tips. Gemmaʼs really nice and friendly and seems to have about a dozen more qualifications than I have! Itʼs also easy to get to as I can park just round the corner at St Julians Friars.
