I've been meaning to leave a testimonial for Bob the Blindman for ages as his company is SO GREAT! I found them on the bestof shrewsbury, read the reviews and got on the phone! I've dealt with some companies that are supposed to be struggling yet it soon becomes clear that they don't actually provide a reliable or courteous service; Bob the Blindman seems to be doing really well and that's probbaly because his company handles everything so efficiently :) Fantastic prices and - at the end of the day - quality blinds.
Choice is huge, good prices, very attentive service and they give the impression that whatever blinds issue or need that you have, they can solve it!
My blinds were fitted last week and I am absolutely thrilled with them. Quality and price were excellent, and Bob was very helpful and gave good advice. Phil, who fitted them, did a very professional job and was a pleasant guy. It is so refreshing to deal with a company who both understand and deliver good old fashioned customer service at its best. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thanks again Bob and your team.
Excellent service. Bob can't do enough for you and his advice is honest and in the best interests of the customer, even if it points you in the direction of a less expensive product. The range of blinds with the colour options, materials, styles, etc is too big to comprehend! Our real wood venetians with wide slats were fitted perfectly without a hitch. I'd recommend him without question.
The service is excellent, as Bob doesn't seem to be able to do enough for you. Then the range of products and their options (materials, colours, etc) are almost limitless. He certainly knows his business too as he's full of friendly advice in the best interest of the customer. There's special deals too depending on what blinds you have. Top marks!
From the initial measuring done by Bob to the installation of our blinds it was an excellent service - can't speak too highly of Bob and his team.Bob gave really useful advice on colours and costings - matching our budget and even saving us money. Bob took time with us and we were never hurried into making a decision.When the blinds were installed the fitter again gave excellent advice and asked us to check each window that he had fitted to make sure we were happy with the work. Colin the fitter who works for Bob The Blindman has just left my house and I phoned Bob to thank him personally for a great job and he's asked me to vote for him on Best of Shrewsbury so I am doing so. What can I say about Bob the Blindman? They must be simply the best blinds company in England. What fantastic service, not only from Colin the fitter but Bob himself and also the girl who initially took my phone call (I think she was called Mandy, sorry!).I wanted some roller blinds for my new kitchen and Bob turned up happy as can be and showed me loads of samples, going back to his van at least twice for more books. He advised me about colours, styles and design and between us all we chose a great fabric. Colin arrived today and fitted them very quickly and expertly. Quite simply the best business in Shropshire for service, quality value and Service. That's right - service is twice because Bob and his team provided us with fantastic blinds at a reasonable cost but best of all and the most important thing was the level of service he gave us. Fantastic Company.
I just want to say to everyone at Bob the Blindman - thank you for providing my wife and I with fantastic blinds and service. We booked an appointment with Bob after a neighbour recommended him and he turned up on time and the whole process of buying the blinds was simple and fun. No pressure, just great service. In less than 10 days Colin the fitter arrived (again on time) and fitted the blinds perfectly; no mess, no fuss just great!Colin was so courteous that he even wore shoe covers when he came into the house, even though our carpet has seen better days and my wife commented on how tidy he left our home. I would not hesitate to recommend Bob and his team to anyone. Brilliant!!!

I have a small cottage in Much Wenlock and needed some blinds. Bob The Blindman was the second company i asked to give me advice after i saw his shop in Telford Town Centre. Bob arrived on time and we talked about the differnet options, at no time did I feel under pressure which is always a concern when someone is in your home trying to sell something. Bob was so pleasant and relaxed he was relly nice. WE agreed on some Plantation Shutters and although they were a lot of money (but not as much as another company) i knew i would be able to trust Bob. Last week they were fitted by a fitter called Mort Smith. He was brilliant. The care he took ensuring the shutters were fitted perfectly was reallty refreshing to watch. Needless to say the blinds were perfect. Thanks Bob and a special thankyou to Mort Smith. My recommendation for anyone in Shropshire is dont think blinds think Bob The Blindman!!!
Bob The Blindman came to our house a couple of weeks ago, we had seen his ad in the admag and at the time we needed a small blind for our bathroom. Bob himself came out, which was nice as it showed there really was a person called Bob running the company. He was not at all disappointed that all we wanted was a small roller blind and he measured the window and gave lots of advice. He charged us £46.00, which was very reasonable. Our blind was fitted quickly and we are impressed with the quality. Bob should be really proud of his company. We liked him so much we have just placed a much bigger order for our conservatory. He asked me to write a true testimonial about his company and him so I have done. Bob your blinds are brilliant!!. Your fitter great, the girl in the office sounded lovely but as for you your jokes are awful!!! (Sorry Bob but you did ask for the truth). Anyway a brilliant bloke, a nice company and smashing blinds. 10/10
What a fantastic company Bob the Blindman runs. What can I say, we called three companies to quote, 1 national and 2 local. Only Bob turned up on time, the so called market leader (national company H*****ys) failed to turn up twice and when they did they were twice the price of Bob The Blindman. What I liked about Bob was his total honesty in giving us advice. He never pushed any particular type of blind nor did he pester us to make a decision. He measured the windows gave us a quote there and then and left it with us. After we had made a decision the blinds arrived in 10 days, the fitter came as promised (a nice guy called Jim) the blinds fitted perfectly. But most of all the service from start to finish was not what I expected IT WAS BETTER!!!.I would totally recommend Bob The Blindman to anyone in Shropshire. Brilliant absolutely brilliant company. I have to say that Bob The Blindman is the best blind company i have ever used. My husband and i wanted our conservatory fitted with blinds and we called three comapnaies in to quote. Bob The Blindman was the second quote we had, he was not the cheapest but the whole approach of Bob (yes there is a guy called Bob who is the boss) was brilliant. His advice was clear and to a point unbiased (obviousley he was selling his blinds). WE signed up there and then. The blinds arrived in 2 weeks and were fitted by a Mort Smith who could not have been more helpful. The blinds are brilliant well done Bob.
Bob the Blindman has just finished fitting my whole house with fantastic blinds and curtains and we cannot rate the company highly enough. We contacted two companies (one a national brand) and they both quoted for the blinds. Bob The Blindman was by far the cheapest, but not only was he cheaper but they offered a better selection and also sold curtains. In fact it was a one stop shop. Bob the Blindman is simply the best blind company i have ever used, from the very first telephone call to the fitting the service was first class. Bob himself came out to see me which was very refreshing, he was very knowledgeable about all blinds and gave my wife great advice about colours etc. The fitter Alan arrived on time and fitted the blinds perfectly.
