We wanted a break from the sun (I know, there's no pleasing some people) and a good laugh with friends, so went over to AMF. Great fun! Really nice people working there.
Still the best indoor afternoon out (if you see what I mean) in Shrewsbury! Still the most courteous staff in Shrewsbury! They've got good deals on a lot of the time, so it really does offer great value for money.
the best afternoon out IN AGES!!! We love AMF. Lovely staff, lots to do (as well as bowl, of course!) and it doesn't cost the earth. When you look how much it costs to go to the zoo, a theme park, even the cinema... AMF is miles easier on the wallet.
My children have spent many a party here - both bowling and laser questing. When we had a recent bowling visit as a family the staff were great and helped when we broke the lane! Thank you so much for a great time out.
Great venue - good place to visit with the kids and plenty of parking
I went bowling with my boyfriend and family on a busy Christmas weekend and I have to say we were really looked after. The staff gave us help to set up our scorecard and were on hand in seconds when a rogue pin wandered down our lane preventing us from playing. Our 'lane host' took care of getting all our drinks and bringing them to us and was really friendly, polite and got us in the festive spirit. We spoke to the manager on the day to pass on our praises of this particular member of staff and want to say well done to all at Shrewsbury's AMF bowling!
Great time bowling at half term with the kids. Lots of fun, great deals, friendly staff and overall much easier on the wallet than most afternoons out. We're so glad Shrewsbury's got a bowling alley. Where we lived before the nearest one was miles away.
We've had some great times at AMF Bowling - with the kids in the daytime, holidays and so on - then with friends in the evening. Good lanes, wide selection of drinks and offers, friendly staff... hours of fun that won't break the bank.
best bowling place in shropshire! HUGE, friendly, quasar, arcade, top deals, the works. loads of parking too. very helpful staff, always on hand - really handy when I'm trying to cope with my nieces and nephews!
A great way to spend a rainy day with the children! Bowling, arcade games, air hockey, food and drink.... The staff are very friendly and a credit to AMF. A happy smiley workforce is always a good sign of a good business!
Top night out. I've been bowling at AMF a number of times before but never really thought of it for the footie. It made a nice change. Shame about the result....
I love AMF! whether its with family or a group of mates, AMF is a top night out in shrewsbury. They usually have some great deals on bowling, food & drink and so on. Its also safe, chilled and more affordable than a lot of things these days.
Went to AMF on Saturday morning with my friends and their daughter (my goddaughter). I guess I always thought bowling was for groups of mates but it's perfect for children too! My goddaughter's only 3 and she had a whale of a time. The AMF guys activated these special 'bumpers' alongside our lane to stop the ball rolling into the gutters and my goddaughter used a kiddie ramp to push the ball down. It was brilliant! We had a wonderful time, as did all the other children there by the looks of things.
always at AMF for their bowling and quasar. don't forget the quasar - prefer that to the bowling, to be honest! top laugh. Good selection of food there too so AMF makes for a different kind of party venue. The staff are friendly and helpful and it seems like a nice place to work. Should apply there myself!!
We went as a group of friends down to the Ten Pin Bowling & Quasar place in Shrewsbury. We had a great time! The staff there really looked after us and we got some good deals. As a group we prefer to go to AMF as everything is there; bar, food, games area....
We took our middle son bowling for his 13th birthday. We secretly arranged to meet 4 of his school friends there. We had a great game of bowling with the other mum who took them - and our 7 year old son - in the next lane to the teenagers. Then we all had a meal and a birthday cake. Great fun for all ages.
Definitely a laugh there. Loads of lanes, no hassles getting set up, a good bar.... A big group of us went to AMF a couple of saturdays ago and we stayed for hours. Two of my friends had their young children with them and although bowling alleys can be quite raucous, it was all family-friendly fun.
I went with some of my friends to AMF in Shrewsbury and we had a great time. We were a bit worried because weʼre a bunch of ladies in our 40s and 50s but there were all ages there! Although the youngsters were much better at bowling than us! And the staff were fun and polite. Weʼll definitely do it again!
