My husband and I must have bought pretty much all of our bedroom furniture from Alan Ward! We love browsing, we love buying (me more than my husband...) and the coffee shop is a nice place to relax mid-spree! A lovely team at Alan Ward.

We have just had our beautiful Duresta suite delivered from Alan Ward. It looks absolutely stunning in our living room, and perfectly balances the tones of the walls, curtains and carpets. This would have been impossible to achieve without the help of the personal shopper Jane.

We were struggling immensely with the vast fabric selection, and were not sure where to turn. Thankfully, we were recommended to speak to Jane, who was in the store at the time. She listened to our concerns and desires carefully, fully understanding what we wanted and needed. In no time at all she suggested a fabric, but also offered to come and see us at the house in order to judge the light and dimensions in the room - a service we were most grateful for.

The fabric looked beautiful, and with her help on the set up of the room and style of armchair we have the elegant, comfortable and beautiful room we desired. We could not have done this with out the patience and suggestions from Jane - thank you so much! We will not hesitate to speak to Jane in the future when styling the rest of the house or changing curtains, and we are immensely looking forward to having guests to see our perfect living room!

Shropshire's Hope House Children's Hospice loves Alan Ward Furniture. Elaine and Kathy transformed their showrooms into a fabulous venue for our annual Shropshire Sparkles Shopping Extravaganza and Fashion Show and donated some phenomenal raffle prizes including a beautiful leather occasional chair from their Halo range. Jane worked wonders with her curtaining skills, creating a fabulous catwalk out of nothing! What we loved about working with the Alan Ward team was their absolute 'Can Do' attitude. Nothing was too much trouble, when it came to raising money for Hope House. During the run-up when we were in the store regularly we saw this incredible customer service extended to customers throughout the store. We know where we will all be going for our furniture, carpets, kitchens, curtains and giftware from now on! Thank you so much everyone at Alan Ward for helping us to raise £4,600.

We have bought a number of beds from Alan Ward over the years and have always experienced a very helpful service. And I mean 'helpful', not 'pushy advice'.... A wide range of beds to choose from, great quality, but it's always been the staff who set things apart for me.

Grateful thanks to the two men from Alan Ward who delivered my double bed wooden base yesterday. They have been here before and they are so pleasant, helpful and cheerful. They certainly make what could be a difficult visit so much easier.

We have just had our entire house carpeted and Mr John Drinkwater was especially helpful, with nothing too much trouble. The carpet fitters left today, and they were nost helpful in assisting the moving of furniture. The bookcase was delivered last Saturday and looks great!..again thanks to the staff in the furniture department. The house looks a treat!

I always thought of Alan Ward for furniture but missed the fact that they also offer a fantastic range of carpets! As warm a welcome as ever, nice service, a lovely shop in which to browse (and buy!) and despite its huge size it somehow manages to retain that family-owned atmosphere.

I recently purchased several items of bedroom furniture from Alan Ward. The courtesy of the employees is excellent, especially Tony and Tom in the dept for the above. As I did not need the furniture until the end of January there was no pressure to have it delivered. It is a wonderful place to visit, which I can really recommend.

I love the new Halo Living department at Alan Ward. I think I could do all my furniture shopping just in there! The sofa choice was superb, I thought, whereas my husband was fixated by the TV cabinets. It's always nice to see new shops / departments opening after the doom and gloom, so I hope Halo does well for Alan Ward.

Great store, no pressure to buy but really helpful staff. Tony in the beds department really knew his stuff and we are now enjoying a good nightʼs sleep (me and hubby - not me and Tony!)

Having recently taken delivery of our brand new solid oak bedframe and Tempur mattress, I wish to compliment Alan Ward on their excellent standard of customer care. Tony Brown in the bed department was both courteous and knowledgeable and demonstrated the wide choice of beds available so that we could make an informed choice. Having suffered from early morning back pain for many months, the Tempur mattress has eradicated my back pain completely.
