I have been learning Spanish with Suzi for over 3 years now. She makes the lessons so enjoyable and you learn at your own pace so you don't have to keep up with other people. You learn everything from scratch, so you are able to read, write, speak and understand the language.

My weekly homework is structured and always fun to do and a source of amusement. I have used my Spanish on holiday, ordering food, drinks, etc., all the important things! (and shopping...). Also leaving thank you notes, which is always appreciated.

I had two motives for learning Spanish - to live in Spain and to work in the country. I needed Spanish conversation but also Spanish grammar, as my aim was to teach English to Spanish children and adults. I have been learning Spanish with Suzi for almost two years. Not only has she given me the confidence to speak the language, but also to further my career as a language teacher in Spain. Before Suzi I attended Spanish lessons at a local college. Although these provided a basic knowledge of Spanish, they were restricted to simple holiday conversation. Unfortunately, due to the wide range of ability in the classes, I often came away with too many unanswered questions. However, all these have now been answered and explained thanks to Suzi! Suzi's lessons are varied to include speaking and listening, grammar and often a 'fun quiz'. She always gives that bit extra to motivate after a day at work and get the best out of us! Without Suzi, I could not have lived my dream.

I've been studying French for 18 months and making good and steady progress through Suzi's expert tuition, patience and humour. I hope to tackle Spanish in the New Year if Suzi can take the strain! My children are also learning Italian with Suzi and appreciate the way Suzi makes the lessons fun.

I have been learning Spanish with Suzi for about a year and a half and have enjoyed every minute! I am actually a language teacher myself and was looking to learn another language for my professional development. Suzi has been teaching my son Spanish through his GCSE years and as a result he wanted to continue this after he left school. Her approach is very friendly and inspiring and he has really progressed as a result.
