The Heeley History Workshop meets every Monday afternoon ( except on Bank Holidays ) at the Heeley Bank Community Centre ( the old Heeley Bank School ).
As a result of the research into the local and social history of Heeley, two books have been written:
' Heeley Then and Heeley Now '
' Heeley and Thereabouts, including Meersbrook and Norton Lees'
Both books have been reprinted and are available , priced £7.99 each, at Heeley Post Office, Heeley City Farm & Ponsfords on London Road. They are also available through Sheffield Scene and other city centre book shops or through any member of the group.
