It seems to be family business as usual at 'Festive Florists' for busy mum, Heather, and her shy daughter, Iris, as they prepare for Valentine's Day. But out of the blue, after years of absence, Holly, Heather's other daughter, arrives to pay a visit. Fresh from her high-powered marketing success, and on her way to an even better paid job in Manchester, prodigal city-girl Holly has decided to return to hometown roots to recharge batteries for a while. But what Holly doesn't tell is that she also bears a dark secret. And when a handsome, male stranger also arrives in the family-run shop, in search of tulips and, unexpectedly, woos both sisters, suddenly life is set to lurch into the danger zone.
In hard times, what does someone depend on to get by? Chocolate? Nicotine? A special person? Or something, perhaps, a little less legal?
Using live music, projection and stage and screen acting, 'Stalked by Flowers' is a multimedia comedy-thriller, which takes a wider look at dependency issues and takes us on an epic, theatrical journey from a coastal town to the chalky uplands of the Wolds. Follow Holly on her journey as she discovers life in a florist's may be full of surprises but it can also, sometimes, be deadly!
