So, another New Year dawns - have you done it? Have you made your list?
Each year we're supposed to make a fresh band of resolutions to beckon in the New Year. How many of them do we actually keep?
In fact, if we're honest, how many of them are realistic in the first place?
I can't even remember what my New Year Resolutions were from last year!
One I will be making for 2010 is to see family and friends more regularly, especially those that live further away. It's all too easy to get tangled up in everyday life and not get round to traveling further afield.
Another pledge I make is to explore Salisbury more. My lesser-half and I realised yesterday that we take our local places of interest for granted - we've visited countless places like Dover Castle and Lulworth Cove (and a million others in between), but do you know I have never been up the tower of Salisbury Cathedral?

And I know we're all still reeling from the dreaded R(-ecession) and pulling our purse strings tighter as well as our belts, but I intend to eat out more in 2010. Take in establishments like The Cross Keys off Queens Street, or the Salisbury Seafood and Steakhouse, which both come highly recommended.
So once I've eaten myself into an early invalid carriage, I will have plenty of material for a fresh set of resolutions in 2011!
