Bonfire Night 2012
25th October 2012
... Comments

2012 will see all the usual suspects holding bonfire events around Salford, so get down to your local park and brighten up your Monday evening with a few fireworks! Buile Hill will be holding their annual bonfire, funfair and fireworks show at the park, along with Peel Park in Little Hulton, Princes Park in Irlam, and a special firework show and lantern parade down at Salford Quays on the 4th November.

Whether you’re heading to an organised bonfire, or organising your own at home, the most important thing to remember this 5th November is to keep safe, especially if there’s children around! Don’t let bonfires get out of control; keep them controlled and certainly don’t let any flammable materials get thrown on there. With regards to fireworks, it seems so obvious to never go back to a firework that hasn’t gone off, but still accidents continue to happen each year. Finally if you’re having sparklers for the little ones, keep a watchful eye on them, and make sure they wear gloves!

There are set to be some great bonfire night events this year, so if you’re heading down to one or throwing your own bonfire bash, just keep safe, warm, and ensure bonfire night goes off with a bang!
