For the past few months we have been on a mission at thebestof Sale. We wanted to know the best places to have a drink or quality pub food locally. We decided to find the best four pubs in the Sale area, and thought you (the Sale locals) would be the best people to ask.
We interviewed hundreds of people from Sale, Brooklands, West Timperley and Ashton on Mersey and asked them to nominate their favourite local pub. After months of gathering and sorting through the results, we finally have the locals' choice for Sale's ‘Fantastic Four’ pubs. They are:
1. The Mersey Farm, Ashton on Mersey
2. The King’s Ransom, Sale Town Centre
3. The Belmore Hotel, Brooklands
4. The Old Pelican Inn, West Timperley
