The best of young talent from our local dance, theatre and gymnastic schools thrilled the crowds all day long, Cadman's Dancers, James Goodmans Musical Theatre, Stalder Academy of Dance, Prime Dance Works,Jan Nik Dance, and the Manchester Lightning Cheerleaders all participated. Peformers included all ages and abilities ranging from the very littlest who charmed the crowd to the sophisticated stars who received loud cheers and rapturous applause.
Ross from ComedySportz compered the event, he kept the crowd laughing and introduced the performers
The Sandstorm dancers with colourful costumes and skillful gyrations gave a display of Belly dancing and live music from local bands Plain Truth, Sky ,Nascent, M.C. Booth and Isaura had the crowds on their feet.
Smaller children were kept happy too, the very talented Funfair Faces face painting was a huge hit, tiger faces, butterflies and St George's Cross were the big favourites!Childrens' arts and crafts activities were provided courtesy of Waterside Arts Centre.
Constable Cub the police panda, delighted the little ones, dancing and "hi- fiving " and Circus Frank (Frank Kearns) on his unicycle kept them smiling.
At lunchtime the big attraction was the Sale Cruising Club canal boat Parade, boats started from Dane Rd and sailed to Timperley Bridge and back.
