Terrazza Restaurant - Italian Restaurant bringing an authentic taste of Italy to Rugeley
The Terrazza Restaurant in Rugeley offers the finest Italian cuisine and a selection of freshly-prepared pizzas, creating a little bit of Italy in this corner of Staffordshire.
The Di Bartolomeo family has been running Terrazza in Lichfield Street for 17 years now, building a strong reputation for wonderful food.
Dishes are based on traditional Italian family recipes, and all the food, is home-cooked and prepared to order, using fresh, authentic Italian ingredients to ensure that taste of the old country.
We offer an a la carte menu and a pizza menu, with a selection of daily fish specials. Our menu also includes fine vegetarian meals. We are happy to prepare food to suit all dietary requirements, please just ask our staff on arrival.

The Terrazza is the perfect venue for Christmas Parties with food of the highest standard. The Christmas Party Menu is available from 1st December through to 30th December excluding Christmas Day and Sundays as the restaurant is closed. Sunday bookings may be taken for parties over 20 persons. Enjoy the menu rustico Natalizio, available Mon - Fri lunch and evenings for parties of 8 or more ONLY.

The Terrazza Restaurant also provides home dining the Terrazza way allowing customers to order food for collection to be taken home and enjoyed at your leisure.
At The Terrazza we provide a warm welcome to the canal users from the local area and beyond. We are just 600metres away from the canal, if you moor up at Bridge 66 and follow the sign for town centre, travel straight up the road for 600 metres and we are on the right. Mooring is free for 24 hours so visit us for some authentic Italian food choosing to either relax in the restaurant, or take a meal back to the boat.

Daytime bookings. The restaurant is available to hire Mon - Sat from 9.00am to 4.00pm for £150.00 including a 'staffed' bar for guests to purchase drinks. Sunday bookings are also available 11.00 am - 4.00pm and 6.00pm - 12.00 midnight for £200.

The Terrazza was recommended to me by a friend at work, so being a huge lover of Italian food, I was desperate to give the restaurant a go. So, my family & I went there for my Birthday & believe me, we were not disappointed!! The food was delicious!! The staff were friendly, attentive & very knowledgeable. The atmosphere was relaxed, we weren't pressured, we had a really lovely evening. Many thanks to the staff at the Terrazza, we will definitely be back!!
An absolute must to visit this restaurant, went here for the first time 2 weeks ago and couldn't fault the place. We were greeted by very friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. The Owners wife came and took our order in italian so you get the real feel of authenticity. The food was out of this world, all fresh ingredients and presented beautifully. The flavours were fantastic, we are already planning to book our next visit. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. I'm not a Pasta fan but tried a friends and it was very tasty. Another plus was that we went on a Saturday and they had lots of staff on who were very attentive and genuine people you could have a laugh with. A+++++++++ Terrazza hope to see you very soon
I held my leaving do at Terrazza last week with over thirty friends an family. We experienced a warm,friendly an excellent service from Nicki an Nick an the rest of the staff. The evening as a complete success an the food was wonderful. We all ate off the Pizz e Pasta menu , the food was perfect in every way. My husband an I have visited the restaurant on numerous occasions an experienced the everyday menu an specials. It is a warm an welcoming establishment an s a "hidden gem" in the heart of Rugeley. Would highly recommend a visit x
Following a very warm and jovial welcome, we had a wonderful meal. The food was freshley prepared, perfectly presented and very very nice. Staff were attentive but not in your face. Great value for money. Also - the atmosphere was excellent - and the only two questions we had were: 1) Why haven't we been before, and 2) When are we going again?
An excellent Birthday meal was enjoyed at Terrazza Italian restaurant recently. Given it was a Tuesday evening, the staff were very welcoming, very attentive and professional throughout the evening. The food was just superb. Fresh home cooked food was served piping hot and to be honnest, dessert was just too much to handle. In summary, excellent staff, fantastic food at sensible prices - what more could you ask for !
I have driven past La Terrazza countless times, to & from work, but this time, thanks to an invitation from a former colleague to have dinner and âcatch upâ, we finally chose to âtry it outâ. It is to my eternal regret that I had not done so years ago. The welcome was both warm and sincere, in English and in Italian. The service was prompt, appropriate and courteous. The ambience was entirely fitting in terms of the décor, the music and space in which to move about freely and still enjoy the privacy of the dining table. The vocal descriptions, expressed by the staff and proprietor, of the eveningâs specials lull the listener into a near-swoon of expectancy, prevented only by the mouth-watering anticipation of trying at least one of them. As for the fare, for my part, the gamberoni were superb; the homemade meatballs & tagliatelle (le polpette fattâin casa) were firm and al dente respectively but melted almost immediately and joyously in the mouth, accompanied by the succulent and lightly crisp fried zucchini and moreish bruschette. The evening was effortlessly lubricated by a few classic glasses of Peroni and later followed by an exquisite tiramisu to rival that of my sister-in-law which, up to now, I believed was unsurpassed. The company was delightful but that was not the end of my flavoursome and friendly evening at La Terrazza which was crowned by discovering the rich, shared and secret heritage with someone there whom I may have known all my lifeâ¦but thatâs for another timeâ¦
My partner and I went to the Terrazza yesterday evening and it was definitely our first visit of many! The food was outstanding, the staff were very pleasant and the bottle of red wine (the Primitivo Luccarelli) accompanied everything perfectly. Would highly recommend a visit!
Tried Terrazza for the first time on Friday eve and really enjoyed the food. Great to see friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff too. Makes such a difference. Will definitely be back!
We've been all around the UK and have yet to find food or service to equal - let alone - beat that at the Terazza. It's a real treat to go there.
Lara and I hold The Terrazza firmly in our minds as being our favourite restaurant! We have been several times and have taken many friends out to The Terrazza to treat them to this exceptional experience. The food is outstanding - all credit to Nic and his team - superb quality ingredients handled perfectly. There is a real sense of attention to detail and you are always treated to a variety of creative special dishes on top of the already superb menu. The service and atmosphere at The Terrazza is truly second-to-none. This family run business offers a family experience, whilst consistently maintaining a professional and high quality service. Nikki is just wonderful and I fail to see how anyone could not have a wonderful night out at The Terrazza.

Having been a customer for years. Nikki and the staff are always very welcoming and Nic's food speaks for its self. The food has always been excellent and i would highly recommended the Terrazza for an authentic Italian meal.
I recently visited The Terrazza and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was fantastic. I am not a huge fan of Italian cuisine, or so I thought! The food was very tasty and the portions were substantial. I look forward to a return visit and would recommend to all.

Visited the Terrazza last night and was so pleased to find this 'little gem' in the middle of Rugeley!!! We sat outside for drinks with the menus before our meal, felt like we were on holiday! Lots to choose from and was really glad to see fresh fish dishes, of which I had the fresh scallops and sea bass. Excellent, we'll definitely be back BUON APETITO ha ha
So pleased that we have finally been made aware of this excellent restaurant. We had never heard of the Terrazza until it was recommended by Steve (thebest of Rugeley & thebestof Cannock). We were served in a professional yet friendly manner and the food was excellent in taste, volume and value for money. Word of warning the deserts are massive :-) Highly recommended 10/10
Excellent!!! I have enjoyed Italian food nation-wide and in Italy as well as other countries. I believe the best for many years and to date is served at Terrazza in rugeley. well done to Nic and Nicki
