Terrazza Italian Restaurant - Rugeley Testimonials

I have driven past La Terrazza countless times, to & from work, but this time, thanks to an invitation from a former colleague to have dinner and “catch up”, we finally chose to “try it out”. It is to my eternal regret that I had not done so years ago.
The welcome was both warm and sincere, in English and in Italian. The service was prompt, appropriate and courteous. The ambience was entirely fitting in terms of the décor, the music and space in which to move about freely and still enjoy the privacy of the dining table. The vocal descriptions, expressed by the staff and proprietor, of the evening’s specials lull the listener into a near-swoon of expectancy, prevented only by the mouth-watering anticipation of trying at least one of them.

As for the fare, for my part, the gamberoni were superb; the homemade meatballs & tagliatelle (le polpette fatt’in casa) were firm and al dente respectively but melted almost immediately and joyously in the mouth, accompanied by the succulent and lightly crisp fried zucchini and moreish bruschette. The evening was effortlessly lubricated by a few classic glasses of Peroni and later followed by an exquisite tiramisu to rival that of my sister-in-law which, up to now, I believed was unsurpassed.
The company was delightful but that was not the end of my flavoursome and friendly evening at La Terrazza which was crowned by discovering the rich, shared and secret heritage with someone there whom I may have known all my life…but that’s for another time…

Tried Terrazza for the first time on Friday eve and really enjoyed the food. Great to see friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff too. Makes such a difference. Will definitely be back!

Lara and I hold The Terrazza firmly in our minds as being our favourite restaurant! We have been several times and have taken many friends out to The Terrazza to treat them to this exceptional experience.

The food is outstanding - all credit to Nic and his team - superb quality ingredients handled perfectly. There is a real sense of attention to detail and you are always treated to a variety of creative special dishes on top of the already superb menu.

The service and atmosphere at The Terrazza is truly second-to-none. This family run business offers a family experience, whilst consistently maintaining a professional and high quality service.

Nikki is just wonderful and I fail to see how anyone could not have a wonderful night out at The Terrazza.

Really had a great evening, just sorry we hadn't been before. Staff and service lovely, food generous and tasty, can thoroughly recomment to anyone. We'll be back soon!

I recently visited The Terrazza and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and the food was fantastic. I am not a huge fan of Italian cuisine, or so I thought! The food was very tasty and the portions were substantial. I look forward to a return visit and would recommend to all.

Having been a customer for many years, I am delighted to make public our approval. From the owner Nikki's always warm welcome to her husband Nic's excellent menu and on to the well trained friendly team, it's a very pleasant eating experience. Add to that - we've never had a poor meal. What more can we say?

Visited the Terrazza last night and was so pleased to find this 'little gem' in the middle of Rugeley!!!
We sat outside for drinks with the menus before our meal, felt like we were on holiday! Lots to choose from and was really glad to see fresh fish dishes, of which I had the fresh scallops and sea bass. Excellent, we'll definitely be back BUON APETITO ha ha

I have enjoyed Italian food nation-wide and in Italy as well as other countries. I believe the best for many years and to date is served at Terrazza in rugeley. well done to Nic and Nicki
