Rugeley is set to get a Costa Coffee in the old Adams store in Lower Brook Street. The opening date has not been set but recruitment has started for staff to work at the cofee shop.
The arrival of a recognised High Street name could be a positive step for the regeneration of the town, though other coffe shop businesses will surely not appreciate increased competition.
It will be interesting to see how busy such a coffee shop will be in Rugeley, with prices of around £2 per drink will the Rugeley people support it? Only time will tell.
