We recently trained 13 of our managers, of varying levels of management and responsibility, on the same course. We chose Worksafe and Peter was the trainer.
The feedback we received from the participating managers was ALL positive, particularly for managers who have never been on a training course, were concerned about learning the rights and wrongs of manual handling and didn’t really have the time to attend the course.
Personally I felt Worksafe, and Peter in particular, very accommodating to the needs of our group, they provided detail information to the trainees and were more than willing with any after training requirements we had. I believe our Managers are now fully compliant to the needs of our industry, and that of the HSE, and our workforce has benefited from having competent and confident managers capable of overseeing manual handing in the workplace, which has helped ease my workload!
